I
booked
an
appointment
at
this
clinic
as
I
had
a
terrible
neck
pain
and
light-headedness
for
2
weeks.
At
the
consultation
the
chiropractor
did
lots
of
test
that
seemed
to
aggravate
the
problem.
Such
as
asking
me
to
stand
with
my
feet
on
a
line
with
my
eyes
closed,
walking
on
a
line,
turning
the
light
switch
on
and
off
very
quickly
to
see
if
I
had
any
reaction,
sitting
with
my
eyes
closed
and
gently
shaking
my
head
with
a
pulse
oximeter
on
my
finger,
moving
my
head
from
side
to
side
as
much
as
I
could.
This
made
the
neck
pain
worse
and
I
went
from
light-headed
to
dizzy.
The
chiropractor
was
able
to
conclude
that
the
second
vertebrae
in
my
neck
was
out
of
place
the
problem
originated
from
lower
down
in
my
back
between
my
shoulder
blades.
I
was
then
sent
home
without
any
treatment
and
asked
to
come
back
the
next
day
for
another
consultation.
I
completely
understand
that
the
chiropractor
needs
to
do
an
assessment
to
find
out
what
the
problem
is
and
how
to
treat
it.
However,
sending
home
a
patient
with
acute
pain
without
any
intervention
is
extremely
poor
patient
treatment!
This
routine
may
be
suitable
if
you
have
a
patient
who
would
like
a
long-term
plan
to
strengthen
back
maybe.
But
for
someone
in
acute
pain
you
need
to
do
something
to
help
them
and
not
aggravate
the
problem
and
send
them
home!
3
hours
later
when
I
was
home
I
vomited
as
I
was
so
dizzy
and
unwell.
I
called
back
to
the
clinic
and
complained
and
I
was
told
I
couldn’t
expect
treatment
as
it
said
‘consultation’
on
my
booking
and
if
I
came
back
the
next
day
I
would
receive
a
treatment
plan
and
MAYBE
I
would
receive
treatment.
When
you
go
to
e.g.
a
dentist
or
a
physiotherapist
it
always
say
‘consultation’
on
the
booking
but
you
still
receive
treatment.
That’s
what
healthcare
providers
do
in
their
‘consultations’,
they
provide
treatment.
I
never
went
back
to
this
clinic.
Instead
I
called
and
went
for
an
appointment
at
Riverside
chiropractor
clinic
the
next
day.
The
chiropractor
at
this
clinic
also
made
a
thorough
assessment,
came
to
the
same
conclusion
as
the
chiropractor
at
Douglas
chiropractic
and
physiotherapy
clinic
but
the
chiropractor
at
Riverside
PROVIDED
TREATMENT
during
the
first
consultation
and
I
already
felt
much
better
in
the
evening.
Going
regularly
to
Riverside
chiropractor
clinic
now.
Advice
to
everyone:
steer
clear
of
Douglas
chiropractic
and
physiotherapy
clinic!
