DO NOT RENT. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, AND EXPLOITATIVE. DON'T EXPECT YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. I was unable to contact Lodgis in the process of moving out. My deposit was never returned to me and Lodgis stopped communicating with me. Also the landlord made up charges and is demanding more money after keeping the deposit. I would NOT rent with this agency in the future and it is an extremely unethical agency. Despite giving them my file number, they have not followed up in 4 months. My file number is: 250558958

Be careful when you choose this agency. They’ll make sure to provide sufficient communication in the beginning. Once I signed the contract and moved in, I’ve sent over 8 emails, numerous phone calls and have received 0 responses! This relates to the state of the flat, to services that were supposed to be provided but aren’t. This creates great complication with my entire movement process to Paris. They disappeared completely!

Very unreliable agency, they do not reply to emails or calls, they take your money and retain the guarantee of payment without any explanation and they do not even bother to check the properties that they rent. The apartment that I rented was full of dust, stains and broken items and looked like an abandoned place, nothing like what had been published on their website.

I’m absolutely sad of Lodgis, their service was very nice at first and then it went downhill. I’ve tried to contact them several times, it always took more than 5 days to reply an email with wrong information that I requested. For your information, I have sent messaged also to their Instagram to tell them to proceed quickly because I’m running out of time, no reply! Now, I’m still waiting for them for more than 5 days. The responsiveness is bad, I will surely delete this review when the address is fixed.

SCAM!! Stay away at all costs!! I rented through them for over a year and in that time they would try and sneak in extra charges here and there, or lie about the electricity bill I owe. It racked to nearly 1000e! When I tried to get them to explain the charges, they stopped responding to my emails and served me with an eviction notice! They have been definitely doing this to all tenants that rent through them but if you're only renting for a short period, you may not notice these "extra" charges

We lost a chance to rent an apartment because of unprofessional attitude of Lodgis team, especially Salma C. We were asked to send our documents ASAP, we sent them immediately but received no reply neither that day nor the following one. When we emailed the team, they said they waited us until the evening and rented this apartment to another client. What? There was no need to wait, we sent everything asap as you asked. Horrible experience. If this things happen in the very beginning, I am afraid to imagine what problems Lodgis clients face later on.

I rented an apartment through Lodgis in Paris during June and July 2022. Everything was perfect at the stage of signing the contract. I came to Paris and moved in at an apartment. At the end of the lease, the landlord evicted me two days early despite the terms of the contract and also did not return me the deposit, the adjustment of electricity bills, and compensation for the last two days. I contacted Lodgis and explained the situation, attached our correspondence proving the violation of the contract by the landlord. Lodgis promised to help and to return my money but disappeared after that. I contacted them twice after that but they did not answer my emails. They even did not put the landlord in the blacklist.

Lodgis and their real estate agent, Olivier Cordet, provided an extremely disappointing experience. Their pricing was exorbitant, and we faced significant challenges with their customer service. Despite a substantial deposit of 3000 euros, our inquiries were consistently ignored. They kept the majority of the deposit without any explanation. To make matters worse, we were not provided with the legally required 'état de lieux of exit.' It's concerning that, even after returning the apartment in excellent condition and noting that it was in poor condition upon arrival, Lodgis charged us for pre-existing damage. This unjust treatment leaves us deeply dissatisfied with Lodgis as a tenant. Their lack of responsiveness and fairness is unacceptable.

If was for them I'll be an homeless now. I really had rush to move in a Paris apartment asap, went to their office in person to make everything in a quick way, explaining them my situation, calling them every day to have an answer by email, sending them every detailed document they need ( a crazy amount of stuff ) and waiting for days to be considered. change job guys, this is not the right way to work with people.

Originally Lodgis was great, helped me find a place and we’re responsive. They immediately went downhill. They stopped replying to me and were never happy to help. It has now been one month since I moved out of my apartment and I cleaned it meticulously because I couldn’t afford to lose any money on the bond. Not only have I not received my bond yet I have not had one single reply on email, even though I have tried emailing 8 different emails being everyone I have had contact with. This is completely unacceptable and I feel very let down. This review will be deleted if things change soon but it doesn’t seem like it will, clearly Lodgis only cares about signing up new people to make money and then will forget/ignore you.

The absolute worst. They are only responsive while onboarding you as a client. After that, good luck getting a hold of them for anything. Beware, there's ZERO response once you've paid. They'll email you when they want, but they'll never reply when you ask about anything. Just the worst.

The agency seemed at first tough in its requirements and responses, but it was efficient, very reliable (contrary to some other agency in the same business), and it delivered. I got the apartment that I had seen on the website and that apartment somewhat exceeded my expectations. The landlady had prepared some details to facilitate the moving in, she was professional, not fussy and very friendly.

I rented an appartment with Lodgis one month ago. It was a good option since it was the only agency that accepted my requests and assisted me on searching acommodation. It is reliable and has good prices compared to other real state agencies for international people. The appartment was clean when we arrived, is exactly as it looked in the photos and is equipped with new stuff for cooking, cleaning, etc. it has everything I need. The only aspect that can be improved is communication. Information may be given in different ways why communication may not be efficient all the time.

Terrible Experience with Lodgis, one year stay. My experience with Lodgis was nothing short of terrible. We were treated disrespectfully, taken advantage of because we were students, and left in an unclean property upon arrival. Getting any assistance from Lodgis was next to impossible, as they rarely answered calls or emails. We had to rely on the property owner to resolve technical issues, making us question the need for Lodgis altogether. Upon moving out, Lodgis made a series of errors in the bill refund, they solved the problem when I explain them what mistake they did, but at the end they only returned a portion of our deposit. They claimed it was for cleaning (which was unnecessary given the property's initial condition) and damages. Even the property owner, which I was in contact with, agreed the amount they withheld was excessive. Our contact at Lodgis, Oliver, was unresponsive and disappeared when we questioned these charges. To top it off, they withheld more money than initially requested. It felt like a scam. I'm deeply disappointed, especially since I recommended Lodgis to friends in the past. While their prices may be tempting, expect zero assistance, especially when ending your contract. What a disappointment.

Julia was a big help navigating the rental process. Her follow up was great and filled in the blanks from the website. The web application tool is not the best as it gave me an error message several times but Julia helped work through that.

Lodgis was a good option because it was one of the few agencies that accept and help international people. The prizes are good compared to other agencies and the flat was exactly the same as depicted in the pictures on the website. Since we entered everything has been working perfectly so far. The only area of improvement would be the communication, sometimes it was not efficient. Apart from that I recommend them.
