The only place to get a large variety of reading material in Corner Brook at a cost of not being very consumer friendly. If you are looking for books this store is your best bet. It has a very large selection of genres for all ages. It is also the only place with a decent selection of comic books. The store is very neat and it is easy to find what you are looking for. Each visit staff have been helpful and pleasant. Books in the store seem to be marked up quite a bit to the point where is it cheaper to buy them on their own website than it is to buy them in store for certain items. For example a comic book that sells for 21 CAD on Amazon and their website costs 30 CAD plus tax in store. A hard cover of a book costs 45 on their website but cost 50 in store plus tax.

I love book stores. My trips to Coles have been positive and expensive. I can't ever seem to walk out of a bookstore empty handed. The selection at this Coles is quite good and the shelves are kept neat and organized. I have been able to find something for everyone in my family whenever I stop in from manga to mysteries and everything in between. Aside from the books Coles has also satisfied my need for fancy coloured pens, highlighters and stickers. The service is always friendly and I appreciate that the sales people aren't pushy. I know that they have a quota of rewards cards to sell but they are always respectful when I decline.

The truth is that I love bookstores and I love Coles until I visited in a wheelchair was a nightmare for me and my daughter because inside we partially can't move. I'm so sorry but I feel disappointed.

For a small store (relatively speaking) it has a great selection. The staff really earn the 5 🌟 rating, very knowledgeable and helpful!

I used to love this store but the current selection and organization leaves much to be desired. I found the nature books under "Humour" which I still don't understand. A lot of the square footage of the store is also dedicated to journals and knick-knacks instead of actual books which is fine in bigger spaces like the Chapters in St. John's but doesn't work well here when book selection is poor to say the least. Coles needs to better utilize the space that they have or move to a bigger location.

Love shopping at Cole's, they have quite a bit of selection for a small location. Only down side is we sometimes find they are out of the first book or two if we are looking for a series, so we usually have to order online.

Great selection of books and indigo goods. Can order online and have them delivered to the store for pick up. Staff is always kind and helpful.
