I left a review a few years back about this place being racist and unprofessional. Cant seem to find it anywhere. Haven't been here in awhile. Hoping they changed for the better. Here's bascially my old review: Walked into this shoppers and instantly saw someone staring at me. I am ideginous, so I can understand why they would be cautious. Honestly thought they would come over and offer help, but instead they kept watching me from a distance. I immdiently felt vey uncomfortable, couldn't shop properly. Ended up pulling out my phone to lessen the awkwardness and so I wasnt tempted to keep looking back at them. Thought eventually they would leave me alone, but I was there for a bit and they were still following me, hiding behind the shelves, preteding to be doing something else. You would think after watching me for so long theyd come to a conclusion im not a thief, but no, I was literally standing around on my phone doing nothing for 30mins and they were watching me like a hawk. I have insecurities and anxiety so I was at this point I just wanted to burst into tears. Decided I don't deserve to be treated like that. Made no purchases and just left. Im surpised they didnt send someone after me, after I left the store to make sure I didnt take anything.. Their makeup gurus are super friendly though. Now when I visit, I stick to the makeup side of the store only. Too scared I'll be treated poorly again. I just go to the shoppers down on second if I need anything now.

I witnessed the woman at the beauty department saying racial comments to a costumer. Absolutely wouldn't recommend this store.

I have to say that I really loved visiting the cosmetics section in this Shoppers Drug Mart. The lady who works there, Suzanne, is extremely nice and welcoming, she was present but not in a pushy way, which I appreciated. Very smiley, friendly and looks just fantastic! Thank you!

I go out of my way to go to this shoppers post office because Debbie (in the post office) at this shoppers is the best!! Always happy to see her when I go in. Other employees are also friendly and wonderful!

Always spend more than expected. Lol, cuz I came out with more than I had planned to buy.

Nice service and good the extra mile

I recently transferred my prescriptions to this Brookdale store and instantly regretted it. One pharmacy staff member's attitude was blatantly insolent and her demeanor extremely dismissive. She asked if I minded she complete another task before serving me and as I has someone waiting, was in a rush, had done my prescriptions online days earlier, simply said I would mind I'm sure it will only take a minute to cash me out everything should be ready. Without another word she turned away from me went and took care of another customer anyway. I asked 'why bother asking me if you were going to just ignore me anyway?' I find that quite rude" the ignorant response was 'ok' - translation "I don't really care" I wrote to the Esam Hamed the manager, he apologized and promised to investigate but need to be sure which employee I meant. When I went back to the store to Id the person I stood 20+ feet away from the pharmacy and she stomped out yelling at me, without even knowing why I was there. I submitted her photo* to Esam and I have not heard from him since at now 4 weeks. Ignores my follow up emails and obviously doesn't really care either. You definitely want to avoid this pharmacy. *Photo was taken in full accordance with Canadian Photography Laws re: within Retails Stores. Zero reason for getting shouted at by your employee instantaneously & aggressively became confrontational by shouting at me from some 25 feet away. 4 weeks later Esam continues to ignore my follow-up emails. >>> Now into July it's 5 weeks later and still no response, wonder how long Esam needs to prove how important he is? Contacted Head Office originally and twice since Shelly the Customer "Service" Manager has also not responded. Thanks Shtty Shoppers! Take my business elsewhere, that would be the Alexandria Store a little farther for me but worth the extra great friendly staff the last 3 years never should have changed.

Always friendly, helpful, Curtious & I love shopping during 20X points days....

They cancelled and removed my prescription medication. This has happened twice now. On a seperate note, when I went for a Covid booster shot, one of the security guards (or police?) used language that wasn't the most formal/professional.

To me and my wife, all of the store in the Square, the pharmaceutical, postal and over- the- counter departments, are like home and each member of staff is a member of our family. Thank you very much guys.

The Shoppers at the Cornwall Square, is my favourite. The selection of make up is great. The make up staff is helpful and friendly. I also go there for any prescriptions. Pharmacists are friendly and helpful. Cashiers are friendly. Debbie who works at the post office, is friendly and helpful. As are the rest of the post office staff.
