It has great historical monument of the woman king. It's history is now global. I highly recommend all tourist to visit this place.

A beautifully constructed piece of history. It's a larger than life statue that you just have to see in person.

What a massive statue! It's a gigantic piece of artwork, large expanse of land with serene views, anywhere you turn to there's something to behold. Adjacent the statue is the Presidential villa, besides the statue is the Senate Building, around the corner is the longest graffiti mural in Africa and behind it is ocean. It's beautiful.

Since 2023, the Place Amazones esplanade has been a public space very frequented by the population of Cotonou and surrounding areas because of its beautiful view of the “Statue of the Amazon” and pride in our cultural identity. It is well laid out with its green gardens and well-marked paths. It is not uncommon for this square to host cultural events and concerts during festive or holiday periods.

See, haven't seen a beautiful statue ever until I saw the monument Amazone.... It's free entry...the environment is very neat and serene and safe too... It is kids friendly and worth visiting You'd need a tour guide if you don't know the history behind.... Otherwise, you just go there and get some good photos

This is a very big statue of the Amazon woman as shown in the movie , woman king. I loved the woman so I enjoyed my visit to this spot .

Quite simply a beautiful monument in tribute to the iconic female warriors of the region. You have to visit during the day and at night. The night lighting really makes it shine.

It was a beautiful place to be, beautiful lawn and toook lot's of pictures. I'd definitely want to go there with some friends next time

A very pleasant place, well equipped for the enjoyment of visitors, a place that you absolutely must visit every time you go to Cotonou.
