Probably the most moving memorial along the landing beaches. The stone statue of Bill Pendell MM looking at the actions of his younger self is simply haunting. It truly is a monument to both the remaining living vetarans and the comrades they left behind. It is brilliantly done and this is a 'must visit' site for anyone doing a D-Day tour. Amazing!

Impactful memorial, and a good spot to survey the temporary harbour around Arromanches.

This memorial pays tribute to the veterans of the Battle of Normandy. Great site to visit and pay your respect. Overs a really nice view of the coast.

An important D-Day monument overlooking the beaches below and to the left. There are some impressive statues to look at, but otherwise I found this site less impactful than others. The on-site museum is probably worth a go, and is reputed to be immersive.

A nice place to stop, the sculptures were really interesting and there are beautiful views of the beach.

Great views into Arromanches and further East. Car parking fees reasonable.
