As a IHG Platinum Ambassador member staying on a Virtuoso booking, we just completed a two nights stay at the iconic Intercontinental Le Grand Paris. We were warmly welcomed by Emma from front desk and we knew it would be a special stay again ever since the outstanding Madrid Intercontinental stay which we visited a couple of months back. Some quick highlights: Service- 5/5 Emma and the legendary Gilles with his club lounge team constantly made sure we were well taken care of. Room-4.8/5 We stayed at a Junior Suite. It has been tastefully renovated and designed with more than sufficient living space for 2 adults. If I had to identify an opportunity for improvement, perhaps there should be a holder installed in the shower since large bottles of toiletries are offered and there are not much space to place them in the shower. Also, part of the bathroom would be slightly flooded when showering takes place. Club Lounge - 5/5 A gorgeous club lounge that has been beautifully designed with lots of seating areas. Perhaps for evening canapes, some hot food such as soup could be provided to break the monotony of the food offerings in the club. The gourmet ice cream, however, is a nice touch, and perhaps a learning point for other properties too. Overall, we loved our stay. And we have an upcoming two nights stay in the same property again.

We stayed for the weekend at the intercontinental le grand and it was a phenomenal experience. I checked in with someone named Giuseppe and was particularly helpful! I had a wonderful time, everyone went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. The one bedroom suite was so beautiful, the bathroom was huge. The two restaurants and bar are so pretty as well as offering such great food. Our breakfast was included and it was such a great buffet of options. The location is central and so easy to get anywhere, across from the opera Garnier. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is very beautiful, at first were given small rooms but then we switched and had no issues. cleanliness is an issue at this hotel though, the sheets were never switched in our 7 night stay, well at least for the extra bed, any garbage on the floor was not thrown but hidden under the bed. Even though the tissue box in the bathroom was empty we only got a new box of tissues when we asked, same with water sometimes. Location was great for shopping but a bit too far if you'd like to walk to all tourist places.

We just spent five nights there. It is a lovely hotel. And the staff (especially in the lounge room, are exceptional). However, if you are interested in the Opera view/balcony, make sure you stay away from room 3126. The balcony was not accessible. The doors were sealed shut for security reasons (apparently, a president once stayed there and had to be secure). They had no other rooms available at the time. Very disappointed because the view and balcony were the main reason we chose the room and spent the extra money. Finally, the spa was closed for renovation during our stay. There was no notice of that during our booking. As 50 year olds, we were looking forward to the sauna and jacuzzi after long days of walking in Paris. Again, disappointed. To their credit, the rooms and lobby are well appointed and beautiful.

Beautiful hotel, but the service leaves much to be desired and is not at the level one would expect of a hotel of this level. Two examples, and we are having many more similar things happening during our ongoing stay: We arrived at the hotel at 3pm and were told that our room was not ready yet - despite the checkin time being 2pm. No apologies, no water offered or anything. We are traveling with a baby: they brought a baby cot and said somebody else would be bringing cover and sheets. Those never arrived. It’s been three days, and room service has not bothered to put sheets on or wonder in any way why there is a baby cot in the room that is not useable.

My last night at this hotel :(. Kind of bummed about it. BUT the hotel is 5/5! Truly! We arrived early to Paris & they let us check in early, which was huge for us because we were on a time frame. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, which created a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Another advantage of this hotel is its proximity to various attractions. Whether I wanted to explore the local culture or enjoy some recreational activities, everything was conveniently located nearby. Additionally, the late night takeout option was a lifesaver when I needed a quick bite to eat after a long day of exploring. Great views from my room (4324). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay. From the great food to the convenient location, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness and organization of the hotel, coupled with the amazing views from the room, made for an unforgettable experience. I can confidently say that I will be returning here for future visits!! Fare well Paris ✌🏽.

Clean, spacious rooms with probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in a hotel ever! Mattress was nice and firm and I don’t wake up with back pain! Hotel staff were very nice and made everything so seamless. Things/deliveries were taken to my room so they were always waiting for me by the time I got back from meetings and all in all, VERY lovely 4 nights here!

The hotel was so beautiful and pleasant with elegant decorations! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, especially after staying at a Curio hotel that has too soft beds, I really appreciate that. On top of that, the friendly customer service made us feel well welcomed. (A special thanks to Monsieur Leo who helped us at the front desk!) And the breakfast buffet was... "overwhelming" (in an absolutely good way!), we enjoyed it very much. I also loved the wide-open stairs that we can just walk up/down if we don't want to take the elevator.

What a spectacular hotel to stay in on a 2 night 3 day trip to Paris for the first time. We had the privilege of being able to use the lounge. The staff was so friendly and it was so nice to just have a quick cup of tear coffee on our time table. The hotel room was so beautiful and clean and we had a balcony view which was spectacular.

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay in the intercontinental Paris hotel (during the end of December 2023 to January 2024), from the time we stepped in we loved the place as the staff are so welcoming, smiling, friendly, attentive and really helpful especially those at the reception, concierge and the lounge. Our booking upgraded to junior suit with balcony with great view. The room was nice in term of decoration and space was great for two adults to stay comfortably, the bed was so comfortable too. In addition the location is great as we walked around to many places, shops, restaurants, cafes…etc. I highly recommend the hotel.

I came for my birthday and had the best birthday ever thanks to this hotel. It is absolutely beautiful, and the service is second to none. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this is by far my favourite. Thank you so much.

Everything is amazing about this hotel. The service was excellent and even though the rooms are small, they are incredibly beautiful and comfortable. The location is top-notch and you can get anywhere walking or take a 8-10 mins Uber. We had an incredible dessert and some champagne delivered for my husband’s birthday!

Definitely a great stay for a trip to Paris. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The bed is similarly comfortable. Style was a bit outdated but its ok. The service was wonderful and staff was well attentive. The location of the hotel is also great, located near the center. There is loads to do at the doorstep of the hotel the restaurant is also good.

I stayed at the InterContinental Paris, and it was like a dream! They gave me a super cool room with a view of Opera Garnier, which was just amazing. The view was so breathtaking and felt like something from a dream. I want to say a big thank you for the room upgrade and for the fantastic stay. The food at Le Bar du Grand Hôtel - La Verrière was okay, but the breakfast buffet at Café de la Paix was one of the best I've ever had in any InterContinental hotel around the world. Overall, my time at InterContinental Paris was fantastic! The room view was like magic, and the breakfast was top-notch. I'm really grateful for the room upgrade and for such an awesome stay. I totally recommend it to anyone who wants a special and amazing stay in Paris!

It was an amazing stay at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand Hotel. We felt so warmed and welcomed by all the hotel staff. Service provided was top-notch the moment we arrived at the hotel. The location was excellent too as everything was within walking distance and the train station was just nearby. It's situated at the center of Paris which makes it so convenient for us to visit all the major attractions. I wanna compliment Chaimaa, who assised us to check in upon our arrival. She's very professional and knowledgeable, helpful and friendly too. The surprised welcome gifts were amazing and sweet, especially the hand written note by Chaimaa, which adds on personal touch, making us felt truly valued. 🥰 We were very impressed that they're going the extra mile to make our stay such a fabulous and memorable one. This hotel is awesome!! It's very grand & beautiful. Our room was facing the opera view. It was magnificent!! 😍🤩 I will highly recommend this hotel to all my friends who are visiting Paris in the near future. 👍🏻 We loved our stay here. It's our 1st but definitely not the last. We will definitely come back again if we are going to Paris again. 😉

We had an amazing experience at the InterContinental Hotel in Paris! The service was top-notch from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel truly valued guests. The location couldn't have been better, situated in the heart of Paris, close to major attractions and with convenient access to public transport. What really impressed us was the hotel's willingness to go the extra mile. Due to a slight delay with our room's availability, they surprised us with a delightful treat - macaroons and champagne delivered right to our room. It was a sweet and thoughtful gesture that added a special touch to our stay. We want to extend our gratitude to Maxime and the entire front office team for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. They truly made our stay memorable, and we can't wait to return.

We were there in November, a couple. They are right next to the Opera and Galleries Lafayette. Our room was spacious, but not a suite. The decoration was tasteful, some would say chic, with Murano crystals and patterned draperies, but not over decorated. The bathroom was big, with a bathtub separated, also tasteful. Looked like a renovated bathroom out of a palace, and perhaps it is, but without the moldy looks and smell we have seen elsewhere in old buildings. On the contrary, all here was nice and sparkling. I want to single out one employee. He is a staffer on the check in counter, told us his name was Kareem. We had a late arrival, with a rather complicated stay using multiple reservations. Kareem handled the process smoothly, with politeness and calm. We have been around and we can tell when we have found an accomplished professional. Thanks for the good job, Kareem. To wrap, we intend to stay there again, and would recommend without hesitation.

We stayed at Intercontinental Le Grand Paris for my partners birthday, and wanted to celebrate by staying in a nice hotel - and The Le Grand certainly seemed to tick that box. As a Diamond Ambassador with IHG, they kindly upgraded our room on arrival to a King Premium, which was a lovely surprise and really added to the excitement of the visit. From the moment you walk through the grand front doors the hotel oozes opulence. It’s a gorgeous place from top to bottom, befitting of the Intercontinental brand. I would say it is posh, but not pretentious, and the staff instantly make you feel comfortable. Nothing you ask it too much trouble. The room we stayed it was wonderful, beautifully furnished and felt very secluded in such a busy city. It was so quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable too. It was my partners birthday whilst we were staying, and they left a really nice touch in the room to welcome us. We got breakfast included as part of our status, and it was very good. The selection on offer is exhaustive, and very good quality. We also stopped for a drink in the bar, and although the drinks were pricey, it was a fabulous experience sat underneath the beautiful glass ceiling. Overall, Intercontinental Le Grand Paris is nothing short of superb. It met and exceeded expectations and made a birthday celebration in the beautiful city of Paris even more exceptional. I want to finally add a big thank you to all the team that looked after us for your incredible hospitality.

It's a beautiful 5-star hotel in the center of Paris! The service was 5 star and all the staff was very professional! Rooms come with a huge complimentary breakfast! I enjoyed the French breakfast and other meals. Well-decorated lobby and rooms make you amazed! I shall visit again

Superb hotel with elegant and well furnished rooms. The area around the bar invited you to sit and relax and you can enjoy food and drink. Friendly and efficient staff. The entrance area can get a little cluttered as staff and guests congregate mostly for taxis. Just a very short walk to Opera and Galleries Lafayette.

  • 5/5 Mel S. 1 year ago on Google
Superb hotel and location. Rooms are exceptional and the bar area is a place to sit and unwind with a drink and maybe something to eat. Staff were all efficient and polite of course for most it's in the higher bracket but if you can afford it then enjoy. Close to Galleria Lafayette which is a must visit on top of the terrace with great views across Paris. The Opera is also situated very close by.

Stayed 4 nights and it was one of the best hotel experiences. Thank you for making the stay special. Staff is very professional and always available. The Lounge access was great and would definitely recommend. Special thanks to Ema and Gilles for special in reception and lounge for recommendations. Concierge service was amazing and was able to book keys museum and tower tickets with ease.

From the moment you walk in to this hotel you get the wow factor. I spent a night I the Garnier suite, a few nights in a prestige suite and the last two nights in their ambassador suite. All three where great, I had a very minor issue in one room and the hotel manager more than compensated for it. The food was 5*, the rooms clean and the service in both main hotel and they club lounge was world class. A fabulous location, even though I drove here by car I opted to use the near by metro as its more convenient and beats driving in busy paris traffic. Thanks so much IHG, I will certainly be back again soon.
