Great Wetherspoons, I'm not joking one of the best I have visited and I have done quite a few.. came for breakfast everything cooked perfectly.. cannot comment on the beer.. Great to see how the staff interacted with one another and had real energy, working fast with purpose and efficiency.. The Management should be very proud of their team. Five stars based on food and service and attitude of the staff.

No airs and graces, straight forward pub, good beers more often than not, pleasant friendly staff. Nice food, pleasant atmosphere. More people coming and trying the real ales than before.

It's OK. I don't like the bloke that owns Wetherspoons and I resent putting any of my hard-earned in his pocket. But there's nowhere else in town to meet up for a pint and burger. Staff are friendly and the food is good, and there's always a wide range of beers.

Good pint and well partitioned for covid spacing. Local place in town. Enjoy visiting.

Came for a breakfast yesterday 14th February and breakfast was barely warm, not very pleasant,last couple of visits the breakfast has been good but not this visit

Went for a spot of lunch. Burger was hot and nice but the chips were warm to day the least

Popped in for a very hot 🔥 cup 🥤 of Chocolate 🍫 Shared a very tasty chicken 🐔 in a basket 🧺 for two. Very tasty indeed 😋

Student prices at the moment. As always great beer selection and food always great prices.

Breakfast was good, but baked beans were cold.

Nice and friendly Wetherspoon with a family atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff who seem to know most of the customers and interacted with them without sacrificing service. Food was great, served quickly, at the correct temperature and properly cooked.

Not a nice crowd, very rough do not go with a a family or a partner. Drinks on other had just as bad. What a let down

Went 25/1/2020. Nice pub, lovely friendly staff, great food, we had small fish and chips and a chicken burger. Good beer, great prices. Sat in the back room, right in front of the fire on table 92. Bagged another 'spoons, must be close to 20 across the country. Lovely visit !

Best service for miles around, very friendly staff. Food is very good value, although the burgers are always a little overdone. Slightly bigger portions would help. That being said, nice setting, very well lit and welcoming.

Not the best Spoons out there. Ordered a curry, it got delivered in a reasonable time, BUT, was told, when the meal was 'plonked' on my table, that there were no poppadoms... what the???? I should have been told. Pops are my favourite bit, I would have ordered something different, but wasn't given the chance, the girl waiting on me simply did not care. Won't be visiting there again. Not the experience you'd expect.

NEVER visit this Weatherspoons. I came in today and got served by a girl called Libby. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I RECIVED SUCH RUDE SERVICE!!!!!!! Her attitude stunk and she was very rude to me. She cannot pour a pint to save her life!!!! Food was nice but service terrible!!!

Great place for a quick bite to eat.

Decent enough place but unfortunately only one guest ale on. There was the 2 standard and a porter and stout. Prefer more of an ale selection.
