Best Indian Restaurant in Coventry! The food was sensational, I could not fault it. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was simply beautiful. The waiters were excellent throughout, explaining the contents of the dish and giving advise when asked upon. The complimentary amuse-bouche was also a lovely suprise and tasted great. All the main courses were fantastic. I would highly recommend going. I will most certainly be returning.

We couldn't fault the service tonight - the waiters were really attentive and kind. But the food was pretty disappointing... There was nothing special about the meals we ordered. It's super overpriced for the portion sizes and the actual quality of the meals. One portion of rice pictured is £4 something... 😂 Sadly the four of us agreed that instead of the £120 we spent for four small meals and a few sides, we could have had better at the local takeaway for way cheaper.

Very quiet which was enjoyable. Food was tasty, and they even brought out an app on the house and a dessert after. Pleasant staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here! The naan was really good and not crispy

We arrived at Turmeric Gold with a party of 8. The group hadn't seen each other for a while and were in high spirit, a little rowdy at times . The waiter who greeted us was very professional and recommended certain dishes to us and was very knowledgeable about the food were were eventually to eat. We stayed in the resultant for two and a half hours catching up and at no point did we feel under pressure to leave. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be going back if they will have us. I really can't recommend this place enough . Thank you Turmeric for a fantastic night.

The best Indian I have ever had! Our team dinner was a huge success thanks to Jay and his wonderful staff. What a fabulous restaurant. Incredible food & beautifully decorated interior. Just wish it was closer to Norfolk! Definitely will be visiting again!

Evening out for three. Decor is a little ornate for my tastes, and given that the restaurant is in (what looks like a historic) building, spaces are narrow and relatively confined. The online menu (website) clearly states that the minimum order is one mains per adult. Service was friendly and prompt throughout. The servings for mains was quite large and predominantly meat-based, so those with other culinary requirements may need to scrutinize the menu in greater detail. We mainly chose dishes with a Northern Indian slant (creamy and non-spicy), which we enjoyed substantially. Of note, the duck starter was exquisitely tender, and the chicken korma as well. We can't vouch as to "authenticity" to food in India, but enjoyed our evening. Prices are mid-to high.

Excellent meal for a party of 7 friends reunion. The food was delicious and well-presented and reasonably priced for the quality. However I have deducted one star as a couple of the lamb dishes were unavailable and we were steered towards the Journey menu despite stating at booking we wanted to eat a la carte. We would, however eat here again.

“Special place for tandoori/curry”. We went for a business dinner... really excellent.... had the set 5 course meal... everyone really enjoyed it. The food quality I’d say is 8/10 but the service and experience is 10/10. The owners are always on hand to ensure you are well served, & will always engage with you. Overall cost was quite reasonable. Great ambiance inside too. I REALLY like it. Will be back. God bless you all.

I had really high expectations going in here.... me and my partner have been meaning to pop in for a couple of years and finally went in tonight. I found the food really disappointing. It all looked nice and was presented really well, but my starter was cold AND overcooked. And the chicken in my main seemed like it was cooked a few hours ago and the sauce was just poured over the top. My partner also said he's had much nicer Indian food, and didn't particularly enjoy it either. He says his starter was really bland and that the food wasn't worth the high price. Also at the end of the meal, I felt pressured into leaving a tip for the service as I was asked when paying. I feel this should be the customers choice, and found it a bit pushy when asked. We really wanted to really love this place, but was just all round a little disappointing.

Without a doubt the best meal I have had in Coventry. The service is excellent; professional, friendly, efficient. The food is well presented and the flavours were amazing. All served at exactly the right temperature. There are a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options and they were happy to adjust dishes according to requirements or preferences. Eg. I don't like mushrooms so they offered to replace them with something else. We went with a chicken option and a paneer option with saag, naan and rice. We were both really happy with our choices, we couldn't finish our meals as the portions were generous but we really did enjoy it all. We would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

The food at Turmeric Gold was incredibly tasty. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the use of minimum oils, colorings, and salts made it feel like a healthier dining experience without sacrificing taste. The staff were not only nice but also very attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and were knowledgeable about the menu, which enhanced our overall experience. The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful, thanks to its historic setting in a 13th-century building. The medieval character and charm created a relaxed and sophisticated vibe that added to the dining pleasure. Turmeric Gold offers a delightful dining experience with delicious food, attentive staff, and a charming ambience. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Coventry.

This Indian restaurant is located in Birmingham and offers an authentic and delightful dining experience. The restaurant provides  food equal to some Michelin standard Indian restaurants! The entire staff was very hospitable and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I went with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. I highly recommend trying Turmeric Gold. This is one of the best in the UK!

The best Indian we have ever been. From the moment you enter Turmeric Gold you feel already why is the best Indian in Coventry and after having eaten there we would dare to say the best Indian in UK. We loved the building (700 years of history) the decoration (which take you straight away to India) and the food (the tastiest and delicious mix of the spices). The menu is incredible and they also have different experiences and vegan options. We cannot stop thinking how good and tasty the food was and what an amazing dinner we had. The staff made our experience even better and cared all along about our experience and comfort. A must if you are around Coventry and if not worth to go.

Delicious dining experience with lots of nice touches and extras, recommended by the lovely evening manager at the Premier Inn. Had scallops in saffron sauce and a black pepper lamb as a main Both were delicious and the lamb was fragrant and tender. The service was fabulous, attentive without being invasive and I really cannot recommend it enough!

It was close to 10pm in Coventry, and I was desperate for a nice meal after an exhausting hour at a nearby gym. I noticed the well- lit facade and went. The ambiance was very colourful and exotic, and the polite waiter ushered me into comfy cubicle there being only one other customer. With all the plush decor I was expecting a pricey meal, but it was very economical I had a poppadom with the usual dips, then a most unusual poached " Vietnamese cod" ( so he said) in a really tasty, but chili-free, tomato- based sauce. Steamed rice was on the side . Very delicious, the fish not over-cooked( see photo). If I'd had time I would have sampled their wines and side dishes, but I couldn't linger. It was a charming and friendly environment, with a touch of Aladdin and the Forty Thieves in the design! I would certainly go back, particularly if not in a rush. Not your average Asian eatery!

Had a wonderful family meal. The children were really looked after. We sat in our own area. All 7 of us. The waiter was really punctilious and answered all our questions. There were areas for more intimate dinning in another part of the restaurant. The food was excellent, spicy meals without being too hot. Even my sister who claimed not to ever eat curry finished all of her meal. One of our group ordered a really hot curry and was so happy with their meal. There were little extra touches like warm cloths and chocolates after the meal
