Really good Polish/Ukrainian food. I had the stew (placek po zbojnicku) for £11.90 and vodka shot. The restaurant also looks very pretty and cozy. Service is really good. Slava Ukraini!

We booked a table in advance . Apparently there were two large parties happening - a hen do and a baby shower . For some reason they only had one waitress . We were nicely seated away however the food didn’t meet the expectations. Potatoe pancakes- very greasy and oily . Chicken I ordered wasn’t freshly cooked - more like cooked a day or two ago and kept in a fridge and then reheated . When wanted to order more drinks it was impossible to order as the waitress (who was lovely ) , was waiting on the other tables . Not sure what happened there and why were they understaffed but it wasn’t fair on the waitress nor on customers . Quite disappointed in the whole experience

Food was alright. Not especially good or especially bad. Never tried this type of dish so don’t know if it’s authentic or not. Generally lack of flavour. The best dish is potato pancake with sauce on top.

If you want to go out with friends in Coventry to enjoy good food and drinks (Polish Vodka), go to Slovianka... The staff serve you their food that is prepared from the heart. The atmosphere is traditional and cosy. Now the food... no words can describe it… just go and enjoy! I’m so happy that we will be using them as our wedding caterers!! Highly recommended.

The food was amazing and the service from the staff especially female staff was ultimately appreciating….. And I’d suggest more to visit them and have enjoyable moments…

Good and fast service, delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Worth every penny! Hungarians Slovakian and Polish people must come here everything taste like home.

Unfortunately place on avoid list... very slow service, first round of drinks has been forgotten and never delivered to our table. Over one hour waiting time for meals. Waiters running to local shop for supplies multiple times... Never get promised glass of champagne for ladies... Big No NO!

Good food and nice decorations. Went with a group of 10 people and service was excellent. The kitchen forgot one order, we didn't have to wait much longer and the dish was offered by the restaurant, which was very nice of them. Had chicken cutlet, kvass and vodka, paid around £21 The chicken was good and tender, with mushrooms/greens stuffing.

Just discovered this restaurant, glad we did. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere in a good location. Above all that, the food was delicious and thoroughly authentic. Menu is varied, and everything looks tempting. Will have to go back a few times to try them all.

Just made it home from Slovianka and I’m probably going to spend the rest of the evening on my sofa, holding my tummy and muttering “OMG” - in the good way! Friendly service from the waitress with five different accents, tasty food, good prices. I’ll be back!!
