Such a beautiful place to stay. I booked this hotel for a business trip and stayed for a week. The staff were so warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional as well as the service in the bar. My family came to visit me in the middle of my trip and we had dinner outside overlooking the stunning views of the garden followed by a game of chess. I would like to return for a weekend break once this pandemic has gone. It is just a super beautiful oasis.

We went for an afternoon tea, which was absolutely fantastic, beautiful and very tasty. The waitresses that looked after us were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. The only downside was that I couldn't see an entrance for people with disabilities. The front entrance appeared to have a lot of steep steps and no handrail. Again, the waitress helped and took us out via the fire exit, where there was only one step. Thank you for a lovely afternoon, and wonderful staff.

We held our 11-person 'micro wedding' at the Iliffe in June and it was the most wonderful experience. All the staff were absolutely fantastic - so helpful, friendly and accommodating, and everything from the delicious food to the stylish champagne glasses was just perfect. We hired out the Tea Room for our meal and it was amazing - such a beautiful space - the Bridal Suite was also gorgeous. 100% recommend a stay here, whether it's a special day or just to treat yourself.

A really pretty boutique hotel which has kept the traditional structure but with modern features and interiors. A lovely green space at the back of the hotel and a quality hot breakfast. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

Tea room is decorated with great taste. The whole reception, including furniture and setting is stunning. Had fish and chips and my son had the burger, we’re happy with that, correctly served, prices are reasonable: they could have charged more but they decided not to. Service was truly fantastic. This is the place to eat if you want to impress someone without braking the bank.

Went to this hotel for our 10year anniversary. They were very accommodating. The room was very nice and clean and enjoyable to relax in. Dinning is very good. Food was very tasty and a very good size portion. Service in the restaurant and tea room was also excellent. We would stay here again for sure.

Went for afternoon tea in their team rooms. Main reception area was spacious and very welcoming. Lots of parking, decor was gorgeous and gardens outside were also great, good photo opportunities. Didn't stay at the hotel so can't comment on that. Overall a good experience and I would return to their tea rooms again.

Beautiful venue, historic and stylish. Fantastic food and lovely staff. We celebrated our anniversary with a champagne afternoon tea and it was delicious. Can’t wait to come back again soon. 100% recommend to family and friends. Also happy we will be getting married here soon too.

Stayed here for a family wedding. Venue - all upgraded main areas (reception hall, ceremony room, and wedding breakfast room) are perfect and equal to much more expensive venues. The upgraded bedrooms are luxurious (the standard rooms need updating). The outdoor space was great for the photos. Staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for them and they worked tirelessly to ensure the day was perfect.
