My wife and I stayed for 3 nights with our 8 month old. While the hotel is comfortable, from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very unwelcome. After breakfast on the first day, the manager/host suggested that maybe we shouldn't join for breakfast the next day as "it would be very busy so the other guests might complain about our baby". Until that point we had nothing but smiles from the other guests so we were quite baffled by this lack of hospitality. Needless to say we didn't come to breakfast again nor will we be returning to this hotel.

Lovely small hotel in beautiful location. We stayed here for one night as a stop off whilst driving across France (2 adults & a 7 year old child). The location is beautiful and peaceful amongst the vineyards. The hotel is very clean and well-presented, the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The outside area including a small pool was well kept and pleasant. They have regular wine tastings with local producers outside. There is no restaurant but the owner organised for us to eat at a nearby vineyard/hotel. The couple who run this hotel are very welcoming and hospitable. I would have liked to have stayed longer as it was so tranquil.

Sehr nettes kleines Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Leider konnten wir hier nicht essen, da alles belegt war. Aber in der Region isst man in der Regel hervorragend.

Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Views over the vines are beautiful. Breakfast has abundant choices, and a great coffee machine that grinds the fresh beans and makes it any way you like. Parking is free and easy. There are several nice restaurants a 1-2 minute drive (or easy walk) away, especially Le Coq. The hotel owners are very nice and proactive to ensure you have a good stay. They speak fluent English. The housekeeping staff is wonderful, and kept our room perfectly. We accidentally left a small but expensive dental item in our room that looks like nothing special. We didn't realize it was missing until we returned to the U.S. I contacted all the hotels where we stayed, but I assumed any hotel that found it would have thrown it out. But the staff at Hotel Des Vignes had in fact found it and kept it for three weeks, and the owner shipped it to us in the U.S! We would really enjoy visiting this hotel and region again, both are delightful!

Kleines verstecktes Hotel in den Weinbergen. Sehr netter Service an der Rezeption . Preis- Leistung stimmen Zimmer sehr klein mit nur einer Steckdose! Frühstück in Ordnung.

Hotel des Vignes in Julienas in the heart of beautiful Beaujolais is our favourite stop over on route to Italy 6/7 hours drive from Caen. This tranquil gem is located just south of Macon 15 minutes off the motorway sitting amongst row upon row of perfectly pruned vines. We always receive a warm welcome from Anne & Benoît and better still our dogs are welcome too. Benoit can book a table for you at La Rose an easy 5 minutes walk away. You can stay here for walking and wine tour holidays also. The rooms are bright with comfortable beds of crisp white linen just the ticket after a long days drive. Breakfast is continental with ample choice. Highly recommend !

Absolutely gorgeous location surrounded by vineyards. Daily wine tasting within the compound from the surrounding vineyards with discounts to hotel guests. The owners are attentive to guests with all our needs met. There's a pool and playground for kids to entertain themselves while parents enjoy the atmosphere and wine. .. We came with 3 kids from 8 to 11 and they enjoyed themselves as much as us. The owners spoke fluent English!
