Quite crowded when we went on a Saturday afternoon, which ruins a bit the experience. The walk is otherwise spectacular, albeit a bit short. They advertise up to an hour round trip but you could easily do it in half hour. It is mostly flat, so no big effort needed

About a decade ago there was no charge now entry costs €5.60 per adult. Quite large crowds, passage does not take more than 20-30 minutes depending on the number of people. No mountain shoes required - I even saw a woman with crutches😀. For a family walk ok.

Beautiful forge, impressive sights. Loved the way the created a path inside the gorge above the river. Went with kids and had lots of fun.

I wish I could have a bit more time to walk the whole route. It is absolutely stunning. If you have fear of heights this walk could be a bit daunting, especially if there is a lot of tourist. But it is fun for anyone who loves a bit of adventure.

Breathtaking masterpiece by the nature! The trail is easy and secured to walk through. Entrance tickets are fairly worthy for its magnificent view and its maintenance.

Upea ja mielenkiintoinen paikka. Hienoimpia rotkoja joissa olen käynyt. Joki on uurtanut kallioon n. 30 metriä syvän kapean kuilun. Polku rotkossa on turvallinen aikuisille. Pieniä lapsia ei kannata viedä. Lastenrattaat ei sallittu, esim. Kantorinkka toimii hyvin. Aikuisen lippu maksoi keväällä 2023 6€. Hyvin parkkitilaa. Pieni matkamuistomyymälä portilla. Tänne kannattaa suunnata aikaisin jotta välttää enimmät ruuhkat. Kannattaa vaikka pistäytyä Annecystä asti.

Amazing site for nature and geology freaks! Song birds in abundance, amidst the truly divine silence of this secluded natural gem of the Haute Savoie !

Nice place for a half day trip from Annecy. The walk is easy and suitable for children and you can do it in about 1 - 1.5 hours. We visited in october and it wasn`t crowded. There are information panels about how the place was formed and you can search for different shapes in the rocks.

Great walk in a narrow canyon on a footbridge suspended 150 feet above the river below.

Really pleasant hour out walking the trail for a reasonable price. Also had a coffee at the little cafe at the entrance which was lovely.

Beautiful place, amazing nature. When I went it was September so not many people ( it can be busy in the summer) it's not long walk, and it's very easy. Around 30 minutes one way, you come back the same way. There is also very nice Caffè with hot food. Short walk to see the castle if you wish.there is no public transport there though, so just by car.

Cool place! Really worth a visit. Take your time and take in the special nature. Dogs not allowed! Might be an issue if you are afraid of heights!

Insanely touristy, lots of parking lots, you have to pay entry to go to the actual gorge and lots of people and children. That said hiking in and around that area is very entertaining but the actual gorge isnt great.

A very nice attraction. The views are great, but bear in mind that the paths are quite narrow and you’d probably have to wait for people coming from the other direction a couple of times.

A nice place to see, walk and take beautiful photos. My 7 year-old daughter was frightened a bit at the beginning but while going back she was happier and faster 😊

We were impressed to see what nature can make! Great idea for the whole family day trip. Though not suitable for pushchairs

Impressive yes, but very short walk. You have to pay entrance and by just 20 minutes you have walked the tour. The path is very narrow, try to avoid busy hours.

Amazing place, free car parking. Probably need a good hour to walk the Gorges suspended walkways. Cafe restaurant and gift shop. Eco waterless toilet

Nice place. Has not changed in over 100 years. Impressive however. Nice for a 1 hour excursion. Not more

Great walk with amazing views. Recommend when its hot, since you will be hidden "under the ground" surrounded by nature and water...

An amazing walk inside a steep, deep gorge.

Not for those scared of heights but spectacular. But slippery in places and no loos on the day we visited. Cafe owners a bit grumpy but there are places to sit so you don't have to go there.

If you’re near Annecy, this is a must-visit place.. the entry fee is 5-6 € for adults and free for children younger than 7 yrs old although I do not recommend bringing children to this place. NB. It’s open only from march to mid October.

Really interesting geologic place to visit. Appreciated the signs in French and English. Nice little cafe at entrance.

In terms of nature is pretty amazing, and is really nice to know more about how this canyon was formed since the last glaciar era. I found it a little bit expensive, and I wish we could have access to the river to swim, but I mean it is nice to keep it well preserve and clean to not affect the natural erosion of the place.

You must not miss this place when you visit Annesy. Absolutely amazing!! Friendly staff. There is some uneven pathways and not suitable for disabled. Henry Shaw.
