One person at the reception was extremely unfriendly and rude, only because we asked if it is possible to see the allocated site, before we pay (which is definately not the case). Very noisy at nighttime: first from other campers; later from the road one side and the cycling path on the other side.

It's a good 2 star campsite. Facilities are adequate. No toilet seats and some are just pits. The showers always had hot water but are a little cramped. Lots of tree cover but that also means lots of mess on the tent roof. Found it to be quiet. Can't get in or out from 2200-0600. Good value we felt. Stayed for 3 nights. Cycle path is just outside the gate.

The campsite is completely sufficient for a few nights. The sanitary facilities were relatively clean, but very old. The pool is sufficient for children. The lake can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The city is a few km away by bike.

We stayed here 2 nights. Since the reception closes at 7 p.m., we were very happy that it opened at 7:20 p.m. and we got a nice seat. We heard the street in the 2nd row but slept well. The bike path around the lake was great.

Good place with large, partly sloping plots. Lots of trees provide shade. The sanitary building corresponds to the old French standard, but is very clean. Approx. 200m to the lake access. There is a very nice bathing beach about 2 km away in the direction of Annecy. The campsite is located directly on the cycle path that leads around the lake, approx. 40 km. Friendly English-speaking reception.

Great site, many trees, birdsong magnificent. End of June not too crowded. Very friendly, helpful staff and really good facilities. Showers which flow continuously - luxury not to have to press the damn button when the water stops! Good cycle path on doorstep & cycle hire on site.

Lovely shady campsite, we luckily got a pitch on the end of a row overlooking a grassy area with views of the mountains. Facilities were clean enough toilets and a showers. Food and drink available on site. Not too far from the lake and we walked towing a hired kayak. Great also for cycling along the lake cycle path. Free bus into Annecy during July and August was also good.

Camping Aloua has a commendable size and spaciousness which I really appreciated. However, I was a bit disappointed with their operating hours, particularly the 2-hour closure during lunch. Moreover, the sanitation facilities were quite subpar, ranking amongst the worst I've encountered. Overall, an okay experience, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Just off the cycle path, with SUP hire - great campsite. Quiet pitch, beautiful scenery and a good pizzeria on site. Stayed 2 nights. Book ahead, was busy.

Loved it here, close to lake. Easy, flat pitches. Plenty of space. Not too many showers so often had to wait. Hot water. Lovely walks. Cycling good in area. Good bus service into town. Dogs welcome at camp and on buses.

A beautiful, clean and peaceful campsite by a beautiful and clean lake, which is surrounded by high mountains. Excellent place for bike rides around the lake. Great place for families with children.

Simple campsite with old trees. Parking space on meadow. Simple plumbing, but clean. Very friendly staff. The place is right on the bike path, good shopping opportunities within walking distance

This is a very good campsite with a cycle path running past giving easy access to Annecy along the lake. The receptionist, Amel, was very friendly and efficient. Good sized pitch with water close to us. The sanitary block is rather tired and could do with some squeegees for the showers as the floors were rather messy.

Nice camping spot at Lac Annecy. Getting there is easy, the pitches are large enough and have electricity. The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but always clean. As is sometimes common in southern European countries, there are no toilet seats and some have squat toilets. There are 6 showers per gender, which are often overcrowded, especially in high season. After a 2-minute walk you reach a small bay (no swimming access) where you can get onto the lake with the SUP. After about 15 minutes on foot (left) you reach the first bathing bay, another 10 minutes longer and you come to a very nice bathing bay with a beach bar and jetty. The bike path around the lake is just around the corner. The entire facility is fenced off and you can access your seat around the clock using the security code. On Tuesday there was even a band and a vegetable stand on site. The pool is ok, the bar and restaurant less inviting. There is a bread roll service with baguettes and sweet pastries, which can be pre-ordered in the bar the evening before by 7 p.m. Price performance absolutely suitable.

Nice campsite in the front area noisy through the street, in the back area quieter with a great view of the mountains. Ideal for cycling. The campsite is located directly on the 40km long cycle path around the lake. A small swimming area is within walking distance of 700 meters.

Nice little camping with a good and cheap restaurant. Toilet building is sufficiently clean. Places are large and there is enough shadow. Personnel speaks English well in case you do not understand French.
