Great dinner in a beautiful place! The quality of the products were amazing and I enjoyed seeing vegan options too. Highly recommend this Monsieur Bleu spot near the lake with a nice staff.

Lovely location but the food didn't match, nor did the service. We were given 1 menu to share between 4 of us. Waiter seemed totally distracted and not focussed on providing a good service - he even dealt with other customers and walked away when we were speaking to him! Food was average and the asparagus risotto was more like a creamy rice pudding with little flavour. To top the evening off, after waiting for 15 minutes for our dessert were told he hadn't placed the order with the kitchen so we paid the bill and left.

Amazing views, cool jazz playing, friendly staff. A perfect lunch. The grilled octopus was excellent.

I'm sorry but I need to post a bad review for this place. We ordered lunch and waited well over an hour before it arrived. Almost 3pm by the time the food arrived. The waitress was nice and apologised for the wait, but we were on the later part of the lunch crowd, and we could see that most people around us had already finished their lunch, so indicating that the kitchen should not have been that busy. I need to add that they were very stingy on the quantity of the main component - for eg my pulled beef had a tiny portion of beef and big portion of bread. Given this is not cheap restaurant, they should not be trying to save money by limiting the essential ingredients of their dishes. Location by the lake was nice and trendy setting, but we will not be coming back.

Beautiful setting on the side of the lake. The service was good and attentive. The food (meat dishes) was great, however they have 2 vegan salads on the menu, which were far from the same standards. Quite a let down in fact. I would happily come back if the vegan options were improved. Apart from that, we loved it.

The food is creative in its presentation and each meal we tried was cooked perfectly just the way you expect it. One of the few restaurants around lake Annecy that is open all year round. We stopped off from Geneva to the Tarentaise. The weather was perfect, the view of the lake is fantastic. The food was excellent with a nice blend of regional and classic French. The staff were friendly and professional. The decor was modern, stylish and understated. A great lunch; memorable for all the right reasons. We will be dining there again.

My adult son and I spent three nights in Annecy, and we made a reservation to have lunch at Bleu 1801 on our first day there. We enjoyed a lovely walk around the lake (about 45 minutes from Old Town Annecy) to get there. The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious. As others have mentioned, my salmon dish was on the small side for the price, but my son's pulled beef sandwich was so big that he took half of it back to our BnB to eat later. Our waiter was wonderful, and we were grateful that he spoke English. We would definitely go back if we are fortunate enough to travel to Annecy again. The only minor challenge we had is that they charge a €20 per person reservation fee. It gets refunded if you honor your reservation, but in my case, it showed up as a temporary authorization twice! I wrote to them, and by Tuesday (two days after we ate there), the authorizations had been removed. You probably don't need a reservation to eat there at noon since it wasn't crowded at all and there are a lot of tables.

Fabulous location by the lake! We had dinner watching the sun go down. The service was great. Yummy appetizers. My husband and I really enjoyed our mains (fish and burger). Don't order the risotto, sounded great, but was not up to standard. Otherwise a wonderful place. Will definitely go back!
