The
airport
is
clean
and
straightforward
to
navigate.
Lots
of
seating
when
waiting
for
arrivals.
Parking
is
also
reasonable
at
$1
an
hour.
Why
3
stars?
The
staff
there
make
no
announcements
to
let
you
know
what
is
going
on.
Radio
silence.
I
was
waiting
for
a
flight
that
was
clearly
delayed.
The
arrivals
board
showed
it
as
On
TIme
until
15
minutes
past
the
arrival
time.
Then,
the
flight
just
dropped
from
the
arrivals
board.
Disappeared!
Down
the
hall,
there
was
the
echo
of
the
airport
staff
talking,
laughing,
so
i
wandered
down
there
to
get
an
update.
I
walked
down
to
the
departure
gates
to
and
asked
an
agent
if
the
flight
was
cancelled?
Delayed?
She
gave
me
the
rundown
that
the
flight
was
further
delayed.
It
ended
up
being
over
an
hour
late,
and
there
was
no
update
on
the
arrival
board
for
all
flights
(airport)
and
the
Westjet
agent
never
made
an
announcement
either.
Just
an
airport
full
of
people
with
no
information.
I
know
a
part
of
this
scenario
belongs
to
Westjet
vs
Cranbrook
airport,
but
in
my
mind,
the
airport
needs
those
boards
updated
in
real
time,
so
people
are
informed
and
do
not
need
to
ask.
Why
no
announcements?
Unsure
of
this
was
a
choice
of
the
westjet
agent,
or
if
the
PA
system
is
not
working
at
Cranbrook
airport.
Both
are
guesses
but
again,
it
comes
down
to
communication.
I
drove
in
1.5
hours
in
the
dark
each
way,
and
when
sitting
there,
have
no
idea
what
is
going
on.
Also,
a
concession
would
be
a
nice
touch.
When
passengers
and
arrivals
are
subject
to
delays,
more
than
a
vending
machine
would
be
appreciated.
