The store smells awful, and the animals are kept in bad conditions, especially the reptiles. I'm at a loss for words

The staff is super friendly and is super helpful. Good selection of supplies for cats and dogs, not bad selection for reptiles, sad selection of aquarium supplies. When they have new stock, each tank has at least 1-2 dead fish floating around. 1/4 fish die within 24 hours after purchasing, and within 48 hours the fatality rate rises even more. I understand that's a supplier issue, but they don't appear to quarantine new stock at all, so the price of the deaths gets passed on to the customers.

I'm fairly annoyed with the store at the moment, I went in a few weeks ago to order a ball python. During this time I got everything set up for it and have been waiting to receive it, when I asked how long it will take they said they usually get them within the same week they order and I would have to pick it up that day. I requested they ordered it over the weekend so I can receive it this week and now they are telling me I have to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive then another week on top so they can feed it. Im very disappointed with the misinformation received by 3 different staff members and the fact my snake will be stuck in the store where it has a chance of catching sicknesses. In the future I recommend having proper information traded to the customers

Went with a friend. Staff seems nice. They have a turtle tank kit. They can be hard to find.

Lots of great products. We were looking for a cat tower. They were very helpful carrying the tower to my vehicle. The service and tact behind the counter could use some work or extra training.

The people are knowledgeable and so friendly. They donate back to the community and keep it local !

After the new renovations, Cranbrook Total Pet is like a completely different store. We were thrilled to find and purchase a leopard gecko to add to our family. Knowledgeable staff.

I have been going to pet value for a while now for my sphynx cats,I want to give a big shout out to Rylie 😁😻She is so so nice and very helpful,I called 3 times today🤣She was so patient and happy to help me ,explained cat food products to me .I am very happy with the service ,and will continue to shop here .Thanks Rylie!

This is the best place in town to get everything you need for your pets. Only place i buy my dogs needs.

I bought a bunch of a aquatic creatures and was helped by a very knowledgeable employee. A great selection of pet fish and other aquatic animals. Helpful staff with great advice for taking care of your new pet.10/10 would recommend.

This place is a great store, and is very well stocked with my reptilian needs for my gecko and beardie. However the reason I am giving the semi low rating, is that me and another unrelated woman got to the store nearly 20-15 mins before closing. As someone who works in a retail environment I have never closed our store less than 5-10 mins early. As this was one of my only free days, this really bummed me out, and the other woman was less than pleased... Like I said this is a great store, but please keep semi-close to the regular posted hours, as it does make things quite confusing and stressful for people working late shifts..

It's pretty good as far as a pet store in Cranbrook goes, there are far too many here. Just a little on the pricey side.

This store is actually closed for renovation. We placed our order online after the store has closed. But they did not inform us. In the meantime we have been phoning the store and nobody's answering the phone. If you were closed don't be accepting orders!

Always great, friendly staff. The fish tanks are a bit dirty but nothing severe. Sadly the cat food selection hasn't been the greatest, but their policies for pet food are great. Some brands you can return for an exchange if your pet doesn't like it and the unused food is donated to families in need. Another deal is every i think 12th bag (of the same brand/size) is free so that is pretty great in the long run.

The absolute worst pet store I have ever been to, the staff is absolutely terrible, they don’t help with any questions and when I was trying to buy a bearded dragon they lectured me about not buying the cage there when I had my own. I have tried to go in to buy food from there on previous occasions for my lizard and the meal worms or super worms have been dead and not even feedable to my reptile. This pet store is the only pet store you can get live food for reptiles in cranbrook and they just have randomly closed before not letting anyone know so you would pull up thinking they were open and they weren’t, you would call and no one would answer and there wasn’t even a recording saying why. They are currently open only from 8 am to 1 pm in the day in which most people work from those times, absolutely the worst buisness in cranbrook.
