We were told about Golden Flour Bakery how good the food is. Wondered over from Hotel for breakfast. The WOW factor kicked in as soon as we ordered at front counter in front of well stocked shelves with Glazed donuts. Fresh cinnamon rolls with raisins or not. Vanilla slices, long johns, freshly made cookies. Cheery danish. Plus freshly made loaves of bread. Buns! Making my mouth water just talking about them. I ordered the farmers with ham. 2 eggs, small cubed potatoes. Home made bread toasted. One of us ordered the huge veggie omelette. And it was huge. Some had farmers with bacon and not just a couple slices. Lots of bacon cooked just right. All five of us left stuffed. The server was very friendly and smiling. Lots of locals coming in. Creston is so lucky to have such a good bakery and lunch place.

Fantastic coffee and food! We stopped in on our way to the kooteney ferry for treats and drinks. Very friendly service and a great selection. I wish we'd been here for lunch, they had loaded potato soup and borshct! I recommend the marshmallow squares!

We had the french toast and pancakes with strawberry sauce for breakfast as our hotel did not offer any breaky service. Very tasty and super friendly staff!

Summer turkey sandwhich was impressively delicious and the sweets here never fail to satisfy. Service is always friendly.

Delicious!! Excellent, friendly customer service from Michelle. You can custom order fresh sandwiches & they have a daily homemade soup special. Eat in or take out. Lots of variety in savory or sweet.

Their bread is awesome! She makes the most wonderful sandwiches. Fantastic soups and chili, you need to get there before early afternoon to get in on the soup. She makes the most delicious desserts and sweets but now I'm diabetic so. But if you have a sweet tooth that would definitely stop in to the golden flower. And the bread is awesome last longer than then the bread you get at the supermarket. Is very convenient right on Canyon Street the center of town across from the shoppers drug Mart, you can't miss it. Do you usually don't have to drive around the block too many times to find a parking spot? There is parking out back in like a mall parking lot.

They have fantastic baked breads, treats and delicious lunches. They also make amazing cakes!

Everything was amazing: the service, the hot breakfast, the donuts and treats, and the atmosphere! The cook even gave our young girls a sample of pancakes with whipping cream and strawberries. You can tell this is an establishment that is part of the community and run with pride. Can’t wait to come through Creston again!
