Took my wife and daughter out for a drink and a bite to eat. Really nice pub friendly staff we will be coming back.

Excellent bar with fantastic beer gardens, the perfect place to relax and spend time with friends and family! Our kids loved the rear garden which has now got a slide, table tennis and football table. Cask ales are back and the food was delicious *****

Ordered a sharing platter and some fries on the side. Have to say great pub grub to share. Loved the black pudding, chicken was tasty and the dips were spot on. Thumbs up.

If you haven't been for a Sunday Lunch here, try it! For less than £12 you get a huge, well presented tasty dinner. Roasties, Yorshire Pudding, Stuffing, Sausage wrapped in Bacon, Swede and Mash, Carrots, Green Beans, Gravy and a choice of meat. I had Lamb, my other companions had Roast Beef. Delicious but, the portions were so generous, none of us managed to clear our plates 😉 We will be back!

Had a Sunday roast here and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! Staff were lovely especially holly and manager Sharron who made our visit lovely. Would definitely recommend. Lovely beer garden for hot weather aswell!

Roast dinner with 2 meats, the Pork was lovely, the Beef was tough. All veg was poor, all pre frozen and chewy. Nice place but more care needed foodwise.

Great atmosphere in a lovely place, we had lunch there as well which was excellent as well and very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend

Considering it was very quiet the food was not great, microwaved mash which was over nuked in some parts, microwaves peas and Yorkshire puddings which where frozen in places and portions sizes where small however veg sausages where nice. The staff behind the bar where lovely and friendly.

Lovely place very clean, staff are super friendly however the food was disappointing my daughter's burger was dripping with grease and my hunters chicken was very dry overcooked and the bacon was burned black and dripping with grease, the menu was on a piece of paper and has been for some time. This is a real shame because I love this place and like I said staff went above and beyond to help and please, the venue was spotless ... just a shame about the food as it used to be one of the best on the street so if that is improved the place will be perfect and well worth 5 stars

Food is obviously out the freezer but its not bad no worse that weatherspoons or hungry horse. Staff very nice pleasant girls . Manager is also a nice lady. Good atmosphere can take dogs in with you which is a positive. Generally customers of good stock . Food slightly over priced for the quality and i think if was lower more people would eat here.

The Marine Pub is a great establishment located close to the Waterloo Coastal shoreline off South Road Waterloo. A great stopping point for refreshments and a place to rest after a good stroll along the Waterloo coastline or the Marine lake or parks in Waterloo. At the Marine you can wine and dine from a choice of excellent foods and drinks served in a warm bright clean and friendly environment both indoors or in their spacious outdoor eating areas. Here you can simple stop and relax whilst enjoying a drink or two before continuing on your journey or continue with your shopping from a variety of shops situated along South Road. If visiting by car there is free parking along the stretch of road adjacent to the Marine parks or park your car on South Road itself. Public transport is available via trains or buses as South Road Waterloo is on a major route.

Me, my wife & 18 month old go here all the time. Food is absolutely delicious and the staff are always very friendly & helpful. They also have a kids play area outside which my 18 month old loves.

When my 9 year old was down to his last 2 slices he was alarmed to find an incinerated fly on his pizza. I showed a member of staff who protested it hadn't been there when she brought it to the table!! No apology but she offered to have a fresh one made - no use at all when my son was already full. I should have demanded a refund but instead asked her to at least let the chef know about it, something I'm sure she didn't bother to do. Even if she did, the chef didn't come over to offer an apology. Said member of staff also preferred to stand and watch when people were waiting to place orders at the bar. There are so many places to choose from close by we won't be returning here.

Lovely setting food was OK but slowest service I've ever had in my life 45 mins for burger and chips and the place was empty.

Friendly staff and good pints but often stop food service early… it’s now 19:35 and the menus are on the table and website says 9pm but they have stopped. The other day the decided to stop early and one day they didn’t even serve food all day🤷‍♂️

Lovely clean bar, friendly staff every time we visit. Never had food there but looks and smells nice.

Such a warm welcome straight from the start I had a beef roast dinner today and managed to catch the name of one of the chefs "jay" from what I recall it was amazing there were another chef working today bit didn't have chance to catch a name but thank you so much you really made my day thank you to all the staff great value for money defiantly worth popping in for some food and drinks I will be coming back!!

Cute little spot for some food if you've been to the beach that day, I'd probably say above average to your other pub burgers though, really nice and fresh and some good options available, think burger and chips were like £11.50, but staff very friendly too and everything was nice and clean!

Enjoy coming here with my dogs and sitting outside in the sun. Not had a proper meal here so I cannot comment on the food, I’ve only had snacks. However, the snacks were nice.

Not bad but nothing super special, decent food, bit of a wait for what we ordered. Fine!

Worst experience ever! First of all, it was a very hot day at Crosby Lake and we were made to wait outside, in the sun, for 15 minutes before being welcomed in the pub, even though there were only 5 customers all together and the other tables were empty. At some point, my friend just sat down and was almost thrown out of the chair... We didn't get the hint from this rude interaction, but agreed to be sat down in the inside garden. Then waited for another 30 minutes for the menus to be brought to us. In the meantime, the family that sat next to us had a funny surprise... The waiter places the drinks half on the table, half on the father. This is when we realised that our table was also broken and my friends had to keep it levelled when the same waiter brought us the drinks. There were still a lot of spills, thankfully not directional towards us. The food came 1 hour later and was cold and tasteless. Overall horrible experience. I hope by now they've changed the waiters and the cook. We'd been better off eating a sandwich from Tesco or just starve.

Went today for our lunch after a long walk on the beach with two dogs. We were made so welcome by friendly staff who brought water out for the dogs and the food was lovely, hot and home cooked. Will definitely be going again.

Nice to be back in a pub after lockdown. Great staff but the service a little slow. Lovely beer garden.

Lovely place on a quiet day, gets really busy when the suns out but plenty of space to accommodate. Food is dead nice and would recommend to anyone.

Came here around 11.30 on a sunny Sunday and the doors were closed. Although all the TVs were on and the terrace door was open too. They didn't even answer the phone, according to the opening hours it should have been opened from 10am.

Great location, near the train station and is on the same road as lots of other bars and restaurants. The food is good quality and is served quickly and the staff are all very friendly. The beer garden is clean and well kept and is perfect for a summer day.
