Marazion
Beach
is
a
coastal
daydream.
Soft
sands,
stunning
views
of
St
Michael’s
Mount,
and
plenty
of
space
to
stroll,
splash
or
just
sit
and
sigh
happily.
Great
for
families,
sunsets,
and
pretending
you're
in
a
movie.
A
golden
slice
of
Cornwall.

St
Michaels
Mount.
Well
worth
the
walk
to
the
spectacular
Mount.
It
can
be
a
long
difficult
walk
on
the
cobblestones
across
the
causeway
without
the
correct
footwear
though.
It
can
only
be
accessed
at
low
tide
or
by
boat.

Beautiful
sandy
beach
on
the
eastern
side
of
Mounts
Bay
in
southern
Cornwall.
It
has
the
added
bonus
of
St
Michael's
Mount
just
offshore,
which
at
low
tide
can
be
reached
on
foot
via
the
causeway,
but
you
usually
have
to
get
the
boat
back!
There
is
a
small
memorial
at
the
beach
car
park,
dedicated
to
HMS
Warspite,
a
famous
WW1
battleship
that
ran
aground
in
nearby
Prussia
Cove
in
1947,
which
was
subsequently
refloated
and
towed
into
the
lee
of
St
Michael's
Mount,
where
she
spent
the
next
few
years
being
broken
up
for
scrap.
Lovely
place,
well
worth
a
visit!
Been
here
twice,
during
late
winter
when
the
tide
was
up
but
was
too
windy....then
in
May
when
the
weather
was
much
better.
...Didn't
get
to
go
in
the
castle
as
went
too
late
but
the
walk
to
the
gates
was
still
worth
it..
Will
like
to
actually
go
onto
the
grounds
to
see
what
it's
like
inside.

We
travelled
around
the
coast
of
Cornwall.
Stopped
at
several
of
the
beaches
and
they
were
all
clean
and
beautiful.
Wonderful
holiday.
View
is
spectacular!
We
went
walking
to
St
Michael's
Mount
in
low-tide,
instead
of
taking
boat
ride.
Staff
in
National
Trust
site
is
very
helpful
and
are
very
informative!
It
was
raining
heavily
while
we
were
waiting
on
the
beach
for
low-tide,
and
there
seemed
no
convenient
place
to
take
shade
under.
Really
beautiful
beach,
St.
Michael's
Mount
is
gorgeous.
There
is
a
new
garden
which
has
been
built
overlooking
the
beach
and
the
Mount
and
it's
a
beautiful
place
to
sit
and
pass
the
time.
But
the
beach
and
the
Mount
were
horrendously
busy
and
we
went
"off
peak"
so
it
must
be
so
busy
in
August!
Marazion
Beach
Review
Marazion
Beach
is
one
of
those
places
that
feels
straight
out
of
a
postcard.
Wide,
clean
sands
stretch
along
the
coast
with
a
stunning
view
of
St
Michael’s
Mount
right
in
front
of
you
–
an
island
castle
that
looks
magical,
especially
during
sunrise
or
sunset.
What
makes
this
beach
unique
isn’t
just
the
view,
but
the
experience.
During
low
tide,
you
can
actually
walk
across
the
causeway
to
reach
the
Mount.
It’s
like
something
out
of
a
fantasy
novel
—
walking
across
the
sea
to
an
ancient
castle.
When
the
tide
comes
back
in,
small
boats
ferry
people
across.
It’s
great
for
both
adults
and
kids,
and
there’s
a
real
sense
of
adventure.
The
beach
itself
is
sandy
and
flat,
making
it
perfect
for
long
walks,
sandcastle
building,
or
just
lying
down
and
enjoying
the
sun
(when
it’s
out
–
this
is
Cornwall,
after
all).
The
water
is
a
bit
chilly
for
tropical
folks,
but
locals
and
brave
tourists
still
go
in
for
a
dip
or
try
paddleboarding.
There
are
facilities
nearby
—
cafés,
public
toilets,
and
some
lovely
little
shops
and
galleries
in
the
town
of
Marazion.
Parking
can
be
a
bit
tight
in
peak
season,
so
it’s
best
to
arrive
early.
Overall,
Marazion
Beach
is
a
peaceful
yet
iconic
destination.
Whether
you
come
for
a
stroll,
the
view
of
the
Mount,
or
a
quiet
seaside
escape,
it’s
well
worth
a
visit
when
in
Cornwall.

Great
experience.
Recommend
to
go
early
as
big
queues
to
get
to
the
boat.
Fantastic
place.
Great
space
near
garden
entrance
to
have
a
picnic
for
free
with
stunning
views.

Marazion
Beach
is
a
true
gem
on
the
Cornish
coast.
The
views
of
St
Michael’s
Mount
are
simply
breathtaking
–
especially
at
low
tide
when
you
can
walk
across
the
causeway.
The
beach
itself
is
clean,
spacious,
and
perfect
for
a
relaxing
day
out,
whether
you’re
sunbathing,
swimming,
or
just
enjoying
a
peaceful
walk
along
the
shore.
There
are
great
facilities
nearby
including
cafes,
public
toilets,
and
parking,
which
makes
it
really
convenient.
It’s
also
a
lovely
spot
for
families,
with
shallow
waters
and
plenty
of
room
for
kids
to
play.
Highly
recommend
visiting
during
sunset
–
the
view
of
the
Mount
silhouetted
against
the
colorful
sky
is
unforgettable.
A
must-visit
if
you're
in
Cornwall!

St.
Michael's
Mount
is
nice
for
photos
from
the
shore
and
a
lovely
Causeway
to
walk
when
the
tide
is
out
of
there
are
boats
going
back
and
forth
with
the
last
boat
being
17:00pm.
The
boats
need
to
be
booked
in
advance
and
online.
We
missed
the
last
boat,
so
didn't
make
it
out
there,
but
we
did
walk
a
fair
bit
of
the
Causeway
that
was
uncovered
by
the
sea
as
the
tide
receded.

The
sea
was
blue
and
warm.
St
Michael's
Mount
was
magical.
I'd
definitely
visit
again.
I'd
recommend
bringing
a
picnic
so
you
can
spend
time
enjoying
the
views
after
you've
spent
time
exploring
the
castle
and
the
garden.
Both
short
stay
and
long
stay
Car
parking
is
very
close
to
the
beach.
When
we
visited
at
10am
in
the
morning,
we
had
to
take
a
boat
trip
for
reaching
the
St
Michael
castle
island.
However,
in
the
next
1
hour,
water
receded
away
from
the
beach
and
the
boats
were
on
the
ground.
There
is
a
walking
way
from
the
beach
to
the
island
which
is
a
new
experience
for
us.
We
enjoyed
the
scenic
views
from
the
castle
which
is
at
the
top
of
island.
We
had
the
opportunity
to
see
tiny
crabs,
fishes,
shells
across
the
beach
water.
