Rua Deputado Heitor Alencar Furtado (Mossunguê), também conhecida como Rua do Outono, as arvores ficam com as folhas na coloração vermelha no outono, final de abril e inicio de maio. As arvores foram plantadas em 2000 e se chamam liquedâmbares (Liquidambar styraciflua) e são originárias da América do Norte (México e Estados Unidos), que têm folhas que variam em tons de vermelho e podem passar de 15 metros de altura. Como moro na região, tenho o privilégio de acompanhar as mudanças de tonalidade das folhas durante as estações do ano, que vão desde o verde, amarelo e vermelho, até ficarem sem folhas no inverno.
