One of the best tourist place to visit in Cuttack. This place has a cool and calm environment and situated near the Barabati Fort. It is one of the amazing place for photography. You can also enjoy the natural beauty here. There is a good amount of space for vehicle parking. There is also a huge garden to sit inside. This place remains totally closed on Monday and remains open from 10:00 AM in the morning to 6:00 PM in the evening for the remaining days of the week.

If you want to know our law system closely, have a visit to this museum, great initiative taken by our law authorities, government.... Ticket costs 10 rs per person. Spend approximately 1 hour which is enough for a quality watching of things there.

It used to be the official residence of Chief Justice of High court from 1948 to August 2012. Though a judicial museum of the High court was initially started in 2017, on a much lower scale with some useful records mainly with the HC, the museum was brought to its current avtar with its new name of ‘Museum of Justice’ recently by engaging Indian National Trust for Cultural Heritage (INTACH) and active involvement of the HC judges and historians.

This is a unique museum based on justice system in practice in our country from ancient time to present state. The old house of Chief Justice of Odisha situated inside the Barabati fort has been converted into this museum. It has garden adjacent to the building and the heritage moat is at one side. The facility for outdoor entertainment is under development.

It's a must visit place for them who wish to know about our ancient law systems and related history. Atleast 2-3 hrs is required to get through everything that's present in the museum. Highly recommended.

An informative hub with enriching facts about the history of Odisha freedom fighters, law and order and other judicial verdicts. Photography and Videography is not allowed inside the museum. It is heavily guarded too! Ticket price: (digital ticketing system) Children (below 10 years) - INR 10/person Others - INR 20/person There is still construction going on for boating facility, fountain, amusement and adventure park, cafeteria, Souvenir shop etc. Must visit the audio visual room to know the current infrastructure of Old High building and new highcourt building. Place of historical importance with many important judgements and verdicts of the pre-independence era.

It was a journey through time for the history of legal affairs and delivery of justice in India, specifically in Odisha. Lots of knowledgable artefacts and information. Very nice and modern presentation techniques used. The museum staff were very helpful and informative as well. Nice memorable visit. Must recommend for family along with kids.
