I was not sure what to expect having never been to Texas before, but overall it exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Ribeye steak with smoked Mac and cheese. The steak was one of the top 5 steaks I've ever had, it was cooked perfectly and was tender all the way through with minimal tough portions. The real shine of the meal was the smoked Mac and cheese which had the perfect amount of smoke flavoring and left a smooth finish at the end. The service was lacking as we had to wait a while for our bill to come after we had finished eating but the atmosphere was the odd.mix of calm but energetic. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Texas looking for a good steakhouse at a good price.

My family and I attended this restaurant out of curiosity, and it totally blew us away! The food was tasty and appealing, the employees showed the utmost kindness, the atmosphere was welcoming for all ages, and the restrooms were quite clean. Definitely a 10/10 🌟!

The food at this establishment, and their service was excellent. Brian our server was the best.. The hospitality he gave was on another level that i haven’t experienced in an long long time. When i come back to Houston Texas i will definitely visit this restaurant. This was my 4th time to Houston in the last 2 years. Hopefully I’ll get to comeback in November 🤞🏽

No family get-together this year for Thanksgiving, so I thought I would take my daughter to Saltgrass for our Thanksgiving Day Dinner. It was Landrys member invitation by reservation. I set a reservation for Thursday at 1:30 pm and it was very busy when we arrived. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The waiter was very polite, attentive, and well mannered, and he took very good care of us. The turkey dinner came with slices of turkey breast, bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, stringbean casserole, cranberry sauce, and, of course, Saltgrass fresh bread for $23.95 per person. I also ordered Pumpkin Cheescake. The dinner was well prepared and was outstanding and the desert was great! I would highly recommend for anyone trying to find a great place for traditional Thanksgiving dinner for any size group! Well Done Saltgrass & Landry's!

I have been coming here for years. Today was the worst service we have ever had. We even called the manager to tell him. It did not even help. It was as we did not have a server. We had to get up consistently to get waiters to bring us even a simple water, plates napkins and silverware. We even had to clean out own table when our food came. They had a big party and no one ever came to ask us what we want. The ribs were very dry. We did not enjoy the food and are so disgusted with the service. We could not even relax as we had to get up to give our order to other waiters at the ordering Station. This was left next to our table and we had to clear our own table

I ate here a few times before not my number one steakhouse but there still good with room to grow. So I stopped in for lunch & a drink. Ok ok drinks lol. First always start off with an Old Fashioned. The first drink there was way to angostura bitters added to it. The bitters completely overpowered the whiskey, which is a no in my book. It took a moment to get the bartender’s attention (which is ok) to inform her of the drink. Since I drunk half of it already I ordered another and asked for only one splash of bitters and also ordered my favorite appetizer their “the crab cakes”. I ordered three of them and 6oz center cut prepared medium rare. The second drink came it was a bit better. About 23 minutes later my crab cakes arrived. They looked delicious and the amount of lump crab on top was just perfect. The first one I bit into was warm but delicious. The second was hardly even warm. No huge issue I’ll just take them home and eat them later on. 20 more minutes later the bartender came back to ask if everything was okay. I let her know about the temperature of the food. She apologized and asked for a moment. She finished another guest drink left came back with a side salad for that guest. Maybe be about 10 to 12 minutes later she came back and asked if I wanted anything else if not there’s you check in the shot glass. I asked her about the steak and she stated the kitchen may have looked over it give her a moment. I checked the ticket in the shot glass and it didn’t appear on it so I assume she didn’t put it in. 10 to 11 minutes with by and she came by to grab the plate I thought to maybe box up my meal. When she came back by I asked, what was going on? She was under the impression that I didn’t want the crab cakes nor the steak. I asked how? I did not get an answer she said she could fix it. I let her know not to please just close come out and if she could please add my LSC information to my check. She took my information I paid and still left a 20% tip. So let’s recap, drinks:not good; app: cold and only was able to eat one of the three and wasn’t able to take the rest home.; main dish: never received.

The ultimate choice for premium steaks, it was a great choice for our today’s visit. Make sure to call and reserve your table before coming, the place is super busy during weekends. Our hostess Lilian was super decent and helpful today, we would really thank her for the great service. The main dish portion is HUGE so be aware and don’t order too much appetizers. Thanks guys, keep the great work.

We enjoyed lunch over the weekend, this was the second time we’ve visited and we look forward to coming back. The server was very nice and attentive. The drinks and the food was delicious!

The Atlantic Salmon was exactly what I needed. Along with a good salad. I don't eat bacon so they removed the pork chips for me. Courteous staff, good food. The waiters can be busy so it might be challenging getting their attention. Overall a very good experience

First I am very easy to please and rarely ever complain. I had made a reservation and the full party showed up on time and still had to wait 30 minutes. Appetizers came out and were awesome... should have stopped there.Asked for bread no bread was brought out. Then ordered steaks. 2 were sent back 1 still had plastic inside the meat that was cooked. SENT BACK because they were over cooked. When I explained it to the waiter he looked at me like I was an idiot. When I spend 40 $ on a steak I want it cooked to order. No apology, no concern, nothing. Usually a manager comes out and expresses concern. Waited additional time to get it recooked and was better. Service was horrible. I have been there to that location several times and service was stellar. Not that time. Usually they bring out bread. I had to ask for it several times and then they finally brought out bread the 3rd time I asked them after the salad. I am very disappointed. The labor shortage is real and employees just don't care. I will never go again to that location. I spent 500$ for a table of 9 and it was a disaster.

Outstanding customer service from the front door! Our Server Precious was friendly, tentative, and polite. The General Manager Misty runs this well oiled machine and she's the best at what she does.

I left 5 stars because I love coming here. I tried the Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken sandwich for lunch. The chicken was juicy and had a perfect crisp but threw flavor FAR out the window. When you can eat your food with no reaction, it means you got the wrong thing on the menu. All I'm saying is I don't recommend it and probably shouldn't be on the menu. It's still one of my favorite spots and great service

I was very pleasantly surprised by how good this restaurant was. Especially given the fact that it was packed and it was Thanksgiving. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. We ordered 3 ribeyes with different sides and they were cooked perfectly. I really can't speak highly enough. It was our first time visiting but it will not be the last.
