My partner and I booked into this hotel after arrival by train. Hotel prominent position next to station. However the area not desirable but understanding do to station proximity. Arrived at hotel very friendly staff specially the gentleman at front desk very friendly warm welcoming . We received prompt service. Room clean Mercure standard. Lovely bathroom very inviting after long hot travel. However small critique our one light over washbasin was not working. Did report it when we went out. Was told by front desk could not fixed due to no electricians duty on Saturday and Sunday. Buffet breakfast was good will recommend it. I just wanted to personally from me and my partner wanted to say thank you for the front desk staff member who served us on this day as said before after a long train trip and tired it was a lovely to receive such a good friendly approach from your staff at this hotel thank you We definitely can recommend this hotel and when we do visit Lyon in the future we will stay here again

Not a pleasant stay and will not recommend this hotel at all. 1. Staff did not bother to understand that 2 of our guests in the group could not travel with us, hence we will pay for city tax for the remaining 5 guests. We also booked and paid fully for 3 rooms, but the staff only released 2 rooms for our check in despite us explaining that we (5 guests) will take all 3 rooms. 2. Explained and argued for another 10 minutes, they finally gave the 3rd room to us with only ONE card access, when the usual and other rooms had 2 cards access. Staff pretended until I asked where's the 2nd card. He proceed to duplicate 2 more cards and kept 1 card for himself thinking that we didn't notice. So this room has 2 cards for us, and 1 card for the hotel, which the intent is so clear as they want to check the room if the additional 2 guests will arrive. 3. Did not request for room service and we have already put DO NOT DISTURB tag. But the cleaning staff saw us leaving the room and we specifically told them we do not need room service. They went in to clean the room and touch our belonginds despite the above thinking that we left the room for good, then what is the ''do not disturb'' tag for?? 4. Staff entered our rooms again in the afternoon WITHOUT CONSENT even after the room service in the morning. So this hotel definitely disregard guests privacy. Will not recommend this hotel, book at your own risk.

Great location, close to the train station. The bathrooms are large with large shower and plenty of vanity countertop space. Beds are comfortable and clean. The only amenities I would have liked to have had, were wash cloths, USB outlets, and streaming service capability (Netflix, Prime Video, etc) to allow customers to sign into their own counts and watch what they want in their native language.

Cheating front desk staff wanted to collect city tax for 7 persons even though we had only a party of 5 persons and had booked for 3 rooms. Staff withheld 1 room and insisted on providing only 2 rooms even though we had paid for all 3 rooms in advance. They insisted that we pay for 7 persons before providing the third room. Staff also entered rooms after check in and meddled with personal belongings even after specifically informing them not to. Hotel staff also entered the room twice even after placing the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Felt unsafe with such invasion of privacy and cheating tactics of staff. Other than that, rooms were of decent size and cleanliness.

Very convenient location with easy public transportation connection into all Lyon directions. Spacious, silent rooms, ample breakfast buffet at which I didn't see any crowded, neither on week nor weekend days. Friendly and helpful staff!

Whenever I have a quick overnight in Lyon, I stay at the Mercure near the gare. Its well situated to quickly catch a train or the Rhone express to the airport. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the restaurant is very good. In all, a wonderful hotel.

Nice hotel, perfect location for a trip with the TGV and a visit to Lyon. The surrounding is a business corner so if you want a cozy hotel you need to take something else. Mercure has a great price - quality balance, fine breakfast and very friendly staff!

I loved how this hotel was next to the station, easy access and close to public transport. The restaurant was fantastic as well. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for your stay in Lyon!

Found nothing to complain about. Hotel is next to the railway station with east tram links to other parts of the city. Rooms were spacious, well maintained, warm & cosy. I thought being next to the rail station it would be noisy but so far it hasn’t been. Check-in was speedy. Service has been attentive. Breakfast buffet was sufficient with lots choices for vegetarians (relatively tough in France). Would recommend and stay here again!

The staff was horrible. We were hospitalisés and they refused to change the reservation. The most in humaine hotel I have ever encountered. It is not even worth visiting .

We stayed in the hotel for one night only but we had a great experience worth the money. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was not the largest in terms of choice but everything was of high quality and the staff was also very helpful and very friendly.

Go to the lyon perrache accor if you have the choice. Mediocre for 200 + euros, especially a poor 18 euros breakfast and service of a formula1. Go breakfast inside Part-Dieu station if you can.

Nice modern room with plenty of space, great choice if you are getting the train to Lyon. Getting the bus into the older part of Lyon is also cheap and a short walk from the hotel.

Very clean and staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel door is always closed and safe the only annoying thing is the room card is always disabled after 12:00 PM for safety even If you booked more than one night and you need to talk to reception to unlock it for you otherwise everything is clean and perfect. Fantastic 2 night stay in this comfortable hotel. Very convenient location close to all public transport. Hotel staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Lyon

Business hotel. Right on Gare Part Dieu. Convenient if traveling by public transport, otherwise area is not so good. Decent rooms, but poorly mantained. Attentive personnel. Good deal on parking right below the hotel € 12 a day.

Well located, next to the train station and walking distance from downtown. The reception staff was nice and professional. Unfortunately, my wife and i wanted to sit in the restaurant area to dirk a bottle of wine while waiting for our train and we were told that we could not, that if we wanted to drink a bottle of wine we had to sit at the bar. Or pay 15 EUR to sit in the working area. Quite unusual experience since we always stay at Accor hotels.
