So far the worst restaurant in Aachen, servicewise. Initially we booked a table for 4 persons at 18:00 but it happened on that day that we were 5 and we could not call the restaurant in advance because it was opening only at 18:00. We were given a table in a back room where was not enough air conditioning. We just asked the manager two times if we could nevertheless have the table which was reserved for us initially and just place the 5th person there, but as we asked her the second time - she almost shouted at us! I understand that sometimes it is not possible to satisfy the need of your client - but, in any case, it gives you no excuse for such rude attitude. Also the answers on the negative comments are quite indicative for the service in this restaurant.

Not sure what customer service means there: we booked for 10 people, arrived 15 mns late and were told there was no solution to be served … Unfortunate, we were looking forward to eating there as the reviews looked great.

What an amazing evening. Can fully understand why this restaurant is so highly rated. Upon arrival we mentioned that one of us doesn't speak German, so the waiter was very helpful in explaining everything in English and brought an English menu. We also changed our mind last minute to switch from accompanying wines to a bottle, which was no problem at all and was handled very professionally and without much fuss. The food was just outstanding and the service matched the high quality of food. I had the 3 course menu and every course was just excellent. My wife went for the recommendations of the day. The shrimp risotto she had was one of the best risottos we ever had. The wine we had (Dry Mosel Riesling) was also very high quality and reasonably priced (26 EUR/bottle). So a great experience throughout.

Great and fine cuisine. Interesting beer flavored with whiskey. Friendly and competent employees. But a bread basket for 9 EUR, no matter if the bread is homemade, is rather extreme.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of downtown Aachen. I highly recommend the three-course meal—such a fantastic experience eating here. Everything was perfection.

This restaurant is truly amazing. The food and the service were perfect. I can't find a single thing to complain about. Everything we had was delicious. The meals are superbly balanced and crafted with care. The presentation is as beautiful as the flavor. The atmosphere is fantastic as the restaurant sits on a cobbled street surrounded by old German brick buildings. This location is a fantastic Please try this place. It is worth your time.

A bright and shiny star in Aachen's modern kitchen. Rarely is a restaurant to be found that combines creativity, boldness, and craftsmanship at this level - and pretty much never at this price point. If it can be explained than possibly with the dedication and purpose exclusive to an owner-operated establishment. I'll be back any chance I get to see how this place develops.
