You can get authentic Bavarian food here. Our Airbnb host suggested us the place. The barbecued pork ribs were very nice. The price is not too high. It is situated just opposite to the information center at the altstadt Dachau.

we had our Xmas dinner here... well...it was ok... not realy anything special. The Deer was a bit on the tough side and the whole meal rather uninspiring. Service was excellent and location nice and cosy.

Just left the restaurant. Extra long waiting time, waiter passing by you like you don't exist. Shame.

Great experience here. The lady at reception was wonderful! She did it all. Checkin, was flawless. Even though the rooms are older and there was no lift the hotel was delightful. Our room overlooked the town of Dachau and you could see Munich in the distance. We ate dinner in the restaurant and then breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was included in the hotel price. We thought the location was very convenient. Definitely stay here again.

Nice room, clean and comfortable. Kitchenette on our floor with a fridge, and tea making facilities. Free parking . Great restaurant across the road that served delicious food at a reasonable price.

A nice hotel in the middle of Dachau. Somewhat noisy, if you get rooms facing the main road. We had windows open at night due to summer heat and constantly heard traffic. Pillows could use an upgrade, they were flat and small. Breakfast was plentiful, you order the night before: we had cured meat/cheese platters, croissants and rolls, as well as apples and apricots and yogurt. Conveniently located to the castle and all things downtown.

Only restaurant tested. Nice food and nice people. Had good time !

Very dated hotel, but the worst thing was the rude personnel. Our room was only made up for one person when we arrived. I immediately went down to the reception and asked for another set of bedding and towels. Half an hour later nothing had happened so I went down again to ask the receptionist who was on the phone in personal calls and I was addressed with “but you’re not going to sleep now anyway”. And I said in fact I had planned to take a nap and a shower after my long trip please and thank you. The receptionist then brought the bedding and continued to scold me and call me rude. One of the worst services I’ve received in Germany.

traditional German hotel. Great breakfast! And cheap price (I went for Oktoberfest and all other places were too expensive), but the room was quite old. Good enough to stay anyway

The food was very good! Understaffed though so we had to wait quite a while. Nice ambience nonetheless and would recommend trying it out.

A very traditional Bavarian beer Keller, beautifully renovated to reflect it's long history. Classic German fare & wonderful engaging service. You'll feel like a local! Parking always a problem.

We only ate at the restaurant. Nice terrace, traditional german food, correct in quality and in very good quantity. Service is polite but as often in Germany, not enough staff, meaning you have to wait quite a long time.
