Free tickets good for relax and picnic with children

Its a beautiful park in Colorful Daegu City. Where you can walk an relax and see the sites of this 3rd largest city in Korea. Within walking distance to shops and the old Daegu shopping center (Daebc department store) has well many othe attractions if you get hungry there are many places you can enjoy meal they even have a shake shack's famous hamburgers, if you want to try something new and different. There is even a large fairest wheel. Enjoy walking around this area with even movie theater. Take bus 730 it will drop you off in the area and close to Daegu train station with in walking distance too. Wear comfortable shoes. Its good to visit any time as well at night.

Superb park in the center of the city. Probably because it is near City Hall, the city keeps this park in immaculate condition - perfectly clean, carefully manicured, tastefully lit, and with seasonal decorations like Christmas lights, Buddha's Birthday stuff, and so on. This park is a gem and represent the city in a very good way. It is open 24-hours (and has a bathroom that is too), has many nice benchs, some very well-hidden, many path ways, a huge bell, basketball courts, water fountains (often turned off though), a museum, the city's Central Library (a bit old but well kept). The collection of plants and trees is great, and there always seem to be some with flowers somehow. I often go here around dusk to chill out, or sometimes even at like 3 or 4am . Never any cops around either (a nice change from the US these days, i'll tell you that...) so you don't have to feel like you are going to get arrested if you discretely sip on a beer or something. One thing: watch out for the sprinklers at night! Anyways, if only every park was so nice.

While walking through the downtown you may take a little break to explore and enjoy the beauty of this traditional structure.

Clean and open park with lights that change brightness when you pass them by. Lots of couples sit in these areas at night and seniors walk their dogs to pass the time. Occasionally you will witness children playing on the basketball court or some people playing Korean chess

Lovely park, not big one but still nice clean and you can find many events held there on weekends

very good place in the middle of city

A lovely park to visit, even in winter. Ideal for taking a break when you're downtown. No doubt it will be even nicer in spring when the plants are in bloom, but we thoroughly enjoyed a restful walk through it on a sunny winter's day. Worth a visit, if only to see the beautiful colours of the memorial.
