I believe the tour was around 3,500CFA for a foreigner, there was an English speaking volunteer available to help us ( we did not request this, so it was nice that they went above and beyond). He was very enthusiastic and kind. Worth the stop, won't take more than 1 hour.

This was a great visit. We have 2 baby sulcata tortoises at home in Arizona,USA so we learned so so much about our own tortoises. I love how there is information around in french and English. We got the tour guide and he was great. I do recommend.

A sweet sanctuary where the tour guide will share all the information of how Senegal is protecting these tortoises. Entrance fee for residents: 3000 adults 1500 kids. It probably takes about 1.5 hour for the tour. Bring a picnic lunch to rest at the picnic tables after your tour.

Very calm and tranquil. It should be visited more but it is a nice reservation to protect turtles.

The turtle village is no village, but a sanctuary! The town has grown around it and it's so good, the place has been saved and is used to save the turtles. We were positive surprised by the cleanness and the care the staff took! To be recommended. - bring your picknick - it's a great place for it - and worth every CFA entrance paid!

Great for kids, no guide was available when I visited. 1500cfa tho not pricey.

The only problem is you are left alone. There is no one to guide you or give you explanation. But it's good how they're taking care of the turtles and preserve them for the city and pollution. They are very well informed about they well being.
