Holy Burgers Batman!!! This place is fantastic! Burgers are cooked to your preference, with additional toppings like Smoked Gouda, Feta, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, Etc... YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!! Wished I had tried the onion rings as the table next to us had looked delicious. Will try next time for sure. Definitely recommend and will be a returning customer!!

idk why but I've been on a burger hunt lately and trying different burger places in Dallas. Stackhouse is definitely up there, just under Rodeo Goat for me. More flavor than Blue's. Base single patty of $9 with pickles, onions, tomatoes, lettuce. Everything else is an add-on and extra $. But the burger is a good size and if you get fries you'll definitely get full. They definitely pack the toppings and I had to take out some of the pickles because it was overpowering but overall a good burger (single + smoked gouda). Fries ($4) were solid, and I got the vanilla milkshake ($6) and I really liked it. Tasted homemade and they added something that I can't quite put a finger on but added texture to the milkshake. Overall very impressed and would definitely go again.

Great burgers! We went about 2pm and a Tuesday afternoon and the place was pretty quiet. I had a burger with bacon and grilled onions. Bacon was great, extra mound of gouda, and enough grilled onions for 5 burgers. I also has sweet potato fries and they were good. My teenager had a regular burger with just American cheese and pickles with original fries. Also very good. With 2 soft drinks, our meal was $40. Good, simple, fresh food. Next time, I want to try the Mac n cheese, it looked great!

I think that these are some of the best burgers I have ever tried. Staff is attentive and courteous. Also they have a nice patio. Will certainly go back

Ever since moving to Texas, this has been on all my friend's lists of must-try places in Dallas. Almost needless to say, I was more than satisfied with my meal, the staff, and the wait time. (almost none to be seated, and 6 minutes for my meal) The only downside is I had to wait almost 10 minutes for the Mac and cheese to cool down coming straight from the oven 🥵 I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and asked for a fried egg on top. I was not disappointed!

Great burger and small but nice beer selection. The onion rings were thin, salty and on point. The coleslaw was the sweet mayo variety I’m a fan of and on point as well.

The burgers here are on point. Juicy, flavorful, cooked to order, and the veggies are fresh. My brother had the Philly cheesesteak and he enjoyed it as well. The fries were super hot and fresh when they arrived to the table. The staff was friendly and fast with the service. There’s parking in the back and also street parking behind the restaurant as well. There’s patio seating around the side and also an upstairs porch with seating. If you are craving a great burger and in the Deep Ellum area stop here!

Hey everybody I just want to let you know about a burger place that we like to frequent called Stackhouse. It’s down kind of over in old East Dallas not far from Baylor Hospital off Gaston Avenue, the address is 2917 Gaston Ave. we’ve been going there for several years and it’s always been spot on. It’s not a huge place and there’s not a lot of parking but you can park in back and on the street behind it and it’s worth it. Once you get inside you’ll see it will accommodate probably about 30-35 people inside, and they’ve got a few two people tables that run along the wall with places to sit by the window. There are a couple, probably about seven or eight barstools at the bar and then some tables up front there’s also seating on the outside patio and they have an upstairs patio deck that you can sit at. The selection is perfect going from single burgers to triple burgers. They are fresh and made to order. I ordered the single cheeseburger medium with pepper jack cheese, bacon and grilled jalapeños and as you can see from the picture it was spot on cooked to order and it was juicy it was tasty. Everything about Stackhouse is good, and they’ve got a great beer selection along with wine or your favorite liquor whatever that may be. The fried mushrooms are great, the onion rings and fries are hot and crispy. They have multiple TVs set up around the place so you can catch whatever game is going on. Its laid back and not pretentious at all, very easy and friendly, a really good place to go. So if you’re down around that area and you wanna great burger it’s never let us down. Go to Stackhouse and you will leave full, satisfied and content and you’ll be glad you did. Y’all take care now.

Great local burger restaurant. They have a solid beer selection and employees were very accommodating. They also had the type of fries that are my favorite! Everything had a great taste and they had a nice outdoor patio, as well as a small second story patio that had a view of downtown. The employees took the time to turn on some heaters upstairs as well as the TV. I would definitely recommend!

Overall very solid burger. Juicy, flavorful, well seasoned burger. Was impressed by the moister of the burger with no condiments in it. More of your traditional style patty, not the thin fast food style. Unless you’re super hungry stick to a single, can even share fries. Very big portions. Friendly staff. Reason for the deduction is for the price (understand everyone needs to make money) but two burger (w/ cheese and an extra topping), two fries, two drinks w/ tip spent almost $50. Still highly recommend checking out this institution.

I love this place! My family and I have been coming here for a couple years now. I recommend everything on the menu lol. We love the soups especially the chicken noodle soup and broccoli and cheddar. Recently I had the Cajun salmon sandwich omg so freaking awesome. Don’t pass this place up. The staff is so welcoming always in a good mood.

Such a wonderful place to eat. The staff was super nice. The food was delicious. Outside patio seating was beautiful. I had the Cuban sandwich with onion rings. My husband got the chicken strips. We also got chips and queso and fried mushrooms. Everything was excellent. I was very full could not finish meal so I was happy to have leftovers.

Found this through google for Saturday lunch, great spot! Grilled tilapia sandwich was AWESOME, went well with the sweet potatoe fries. The wait wasn’t long and we enjoyed eating on the patio. Looks like there’s an upstairs area too that would be fun at night.

The food is exceptional and huge portions! I usually order the turkey burger special, but I usually change the sweet potato fries to regular ones... they are huge! They even have options for my vegan homegirl ! They have an up and downstairs! There are inside and outside sections. This is my go-to chill spot... whether I'm doing paperwork or running away from it!

One of our favorite Burger places in DFW. Every time we are doing events in Dallas, we want to stop and eat here. The best think on the menu is their burgers. Pick the one you like and enjoy. They also have good happy hour deals if you are visiting during those hours. Special mention of the fried mozzarella. Those triangles are so good.

Crabcake burger and salmon burger; loved the salmon burger but not the crabcake burger. Large portion sized meal. Place was busy, small seating area. Staff are very attentive; saw staff making seating available by cleaning tables and breaking larger table set-up down to accommodate more guests. Would love to go back and try this place again!

Come hungry if you eat here. Their double meat burgers & Cuban sandwich are great. Sweet potato fries are “rockin” per the wife. Really good regular fries that aren’t greasy. Service was good and atmosphere is inviting.

The food is great. Excellent Cobb salad prices are great. The atmosphere could be better. Would be great if they updated the furniture. Ripped torn furniture is not attractive at a restaurant.
