Above average kind of Japanese cuisine you can get in KK. Soft lights ambient offer a comfortable and relaxing environment to enjoy your foods. We had Fresh sashimi and bentos with for sharing. Not bad at all... Can give a try here.

Fresh ingredients makes perfect sashimi. Though it's on the more expensive side the food quality is worth the price.

Their fresh sashimi, particularly the butter fish, tuna, and salmon, is a must-try. The crispy prawn tempura adds a delightful crunch to the meal. The unagi bento rice box is a real highlight, with generous portions of succulent unagi that never fail to satisfy. The attentive staff provide excellent service, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. It's advisable to make reservations ahead of time, as they tend to be packed. Plus, the ample basement parking makes visiting hassle-free.

It's an expensive Japanese restaurant w regular portions and iirc was the first Japanese restaurant in kk. The udon is very chewy, the beef tender and the chicken teriyaki savory. However, one of the serves explained things wrongly to us (only the mango dessert is free for each diner) and we had to pay for the 2 miniscule scoops of ice cream. Now why in the would I, in good conscience, pay RM16 for two small scoops of vanilla ice cream in an alr expensive place? 😍

The foods using the quality food but kitchen didn't really do well for it. The restaurant has been designed more private, so very hard to find anyone service us. I think they will need give training to the staff and need service planning for the services. Overall experience for me, there is no improvement since grand opening.

Top worst japanese restaurant ever in Kota Kinabalu. Orders came wrong for a few times even after telling the staff that it was wrong, we told them clearly what we want but it seems like the staff is lacking abit of common sense and manners that's why the orders came wrong a few times? Not only that, one of the female staff gives you a face like you owe her tons of money. Horrible hospitality. Seems like some staffs are not even well trained to serve customers, don't even have basic manners. Food is so horrible and overpriced. Food taste so bad. Waste time and money on visiting this restaurant.

Went there twice few nights ago. (Last 2 pics were taken during indoor dinner) Air-conditioned Japanese restaurant. Also has outdoor seats but limited. Can be packed at times, especially during peak hours. Plenty of parkings underground and it’s free for first 2 hours (at this time of wri Staffs are quick and attentive. Indoor ambience is good. Outdoor seats has ample of fans and good lighting. Food wise: Sashimis are fresh (main reason) and good portion. Sushi rolls taste good as well. Recommended to try if your are nearby. Oh ya, if you come in big group, suggest to make reservation.

The food is great, service is HEAVILY great but sadly loud customers and I have to wear earphones just to listen to Youtube videos. No rubbish anywhere, air conditioning is excellent. Now the bad stuff: The quality of the food is horrible, can't even look at it straight but it still taste good.

The flavour changed when compared to the last branch at kk city. Price increased but taste worsen. Soft shell crab totally not recommend. Not price worthy. Not recommend anymore! Sad. Lose another one of the authentic japanese restaurant in KK.

It's a nice & comfortable Japanese restaurant where nice food & most importantly, the food is quite fresh. So if you have no idea on where to eat & also carving for Japanese food then maybe can give this restaurant a try. But some of the sushi here are quite pricey oh. Just saying.

Went there on 27 Jun 2022 for dinner given some of the good reviews here and was sorely disappointed. Ordered a sukiyaki since shabu-shabu was not available and the beef was way over-cooked and so tough that you can't bite through. Restaurant should have served the meats separately and have customers cook them as they eat, and not dumped all meats into the sukiyaki pot. The thinly sliced beef must have been boiled for at least 1-2 mins before the pot was served to us. Though we didn't want to waste food and tried eating, we gave up shortly and more than 2/3 pot leftover. It was food totally wasted. Also ordered a 4-kinds sashimi (2pcs each) but were given 3 kinds only with one repeated. Restaurant didn't even bother to explain and just expected customers to eat whenever was served. Other dishes were mediocre/ normal at best, nothing to shout about. I do not recommend nor will return again. Two star at best.

The food and service were excellent. I absolutely adore their salmon sashimi and shake. The portion sizes were very satisfying and generous. The boss was also friendly and open to receiving feedback from customers.
