I waited to leave a review until my annoyance and anger calmed down, but even after sleeping on it, I still feel that the restaurant's staff behavior was way out of line. After reading some other reviews, I understand the situation even better. What makes this review bittersweet is that some of their food was pretty good. However, when I had some problems with one of the dishes tasting a bit off/the ingredients tasting old, the waiter went to the kitchen and came back explaining that there was nothing wrong with the dish. Then after some back and forth explaining that there was definitely something wrong with the dish as I've had the same dish at other restaurants with no issues, the lady manager came over and proceeded to lecture my table about how the food should taste and that there is no problem. I was taken aback by the sheer balls of this woman, but The Lion, The Witch, and the audacity of this Bit-- coming to our table and implying that we were the ones that had no sense of taste left a sour taste in our mouths literally and figuratively. Luckily after a little more back and forth they finally decided to not charge us for the item, but just the whole experience was condescending and crazy to see in the modern restaurant scene. In short, the lady manager has a huge pride problem that needs to be checked. Treat your customers better; it's not a hard concept as a restaurant

Reading from the previous review, the old lady name "Karen" who is the owner is known to be extremely rude and have many issues. She yelled at both workers and customers. I saw it myself last night sitting across from a table of a family. She was yelling and was extremely angry making disrespectful gesture to the family. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. I will never be coming back and tell all my friends not to come to this resturant.

I was very disappointed because I had high expectations but they had terrible customer service. The workers here were very rude and disrespectful even when you are trying to be understanding and respectful to them. I brought my parents, but the owner (the lady manager) treated us very poorly. The food they served was rotten and I spoke to the server about this matter but he didnt apologize and said it was supposed to taste like rotten. -Also they added that because we were vegetarian and refused to add fish sauce, it was the reasoned why the food was tasting rotten. It made no sense to me. Then the old lady manager came over and tried to do a long lecture with very angry/loud tone about their food and that they taste fine. I had to stop her many times. Very disrespectful in front of my parents. I don't want anyone to experience what I did. This restaurants may have some good dishes which I also thought before all this happened. But their mindset of customer service is completely wrong and they look down on customers. I hope in the near future resturants like this will not be allowed to open. It was a good experience to acknowledge that restaurants like this still exist.

I like this place the food was really good. We went on a Sunday afternoon, it was not busy at all. Location it is great, even thought maps would direct you to the back of the restaurant which it is not an entrance.

My husband and I went there for lunch. We took advantage of their specials and everything we ordered was delicious. It is an elegant restaurant with big windows that face the fountains on the square. It's a bit more pricy than Asian restaurants in the area, but the food is good. The service is a bit slow.

The service was really good, it was easy to get to and there was a lot of parking. I liked the ambiance and the restaurant was very comfortable and pretty. I did not like the food, however, and I didn't think it was a good value. There were a lot of Thai items on the menu but it was more of a Chinese take on Thai food. The yellow curry was very off-putting and the vegetables had a weird glaze on them. Also, the pineapple fried rice was sickly sweet and also had a weird glaze on it. I just wasn't impressed and probably wouldn't go back.

Great Asian restaurant The food here is very good. Their lo mein is very good, their fried rice is amazing, and their Mongolian beef is solid. Also had their wonton soup which is also good and their shrimp egg rolls, which where a little underwhelming but still decent. Their prices are very reasonable considering the quality of ingredients they use and the freshness you can taste. Customer service is also very friendly Overall as an Asian bistro it fares very well to others in the area, but fall just short of the top notch ones found further out west towards SGV or even Hollywood. Nonetheless look forward to eating here again and supporting this local restaurant

I had a very good experience at this place . They were prompt with their orders. Do try out their lunch specials which comes with rice and spring roll along with the starter. They maintain the quality of their food and their food is tasty. It’s a good Asian food place

Best asian food in the inland empire. The canyon Crest shopping center is full of great places and this is one of them. We been coming here for the last 6 years. Food is very tasty. Customer service is great. The prices are fair, portion sizes are good. Great place to come for a chill date night. Very private and intimate.

The food is delicious as are the staff. We've ordered many dishes and we've never been disappointed. A few of our favorites dishes are the Eggplant Vegetables, Mongolian Beef, Chop Suey, Egg rolls, Dumplings as well as Wonton& egg drop soups. It's all delicious. The Head Chef has years of experience as does the owner Karen & her right hands Gregory & Em. Guaranteed you will leave the place happy and satisfied. AAA PLUS.

A hidden gem in the Town Center. Came Here with friends and we had a fabulous meal with great service and tasty food! Highly recommend! We had the walnut shrimp, Mongolian beef, mushroom chicken and garlic galore. All were super yummy and plates were generous enough to share. Service was attentive and impeccable!

The owner lady is rough on her server's don't tell them they did wrong were costumes can hear it. The two young gal server's were great. Oh and costumers can't read a menu too. It's not the server's flat...Only complaint 4.50 for ice tea is very high priced...

Omg!!! The food here is amazing. We have dined in and ordered take out. The service and quality of food is always amazing. Everything we tried on the menu was top notch seasoning wise. Also the atmosphere inside the restaurant is super cozy and romantic. I totally recommend this restaurant. 🥰🥰

My new favorite. Food was great. Tried all different plates. Had a party of 6 and every single person enjoyed their food. Amazing!! Lettuce wraps were different as they were cold but AMAZING AND FRESH!!!

Went here for the first time this evening. Food was fresh, great flavor. Mango Martini was perfect. Service was on point. Even boxed up my leftovers for me. Can’t wait to eat them for lunch tomorrow. Highly recommend!

🌸 Came here with my fiancé to celebrate our 7 year anniversary, we love asian food so we decided why not this restaurant :)! Everything was fine, the lighting and decor etc.., it was until the food came 😑. I never ever wanted to have the worlds blandest chicken fried rice on a very special occasion such as this, it literally had NO SEASONING whatsoever NOT EVEN A DASH OF SALT🧂 . Although, my fiancé had some decent lo mein 🍜 , to which I stole a bite every now then because of my unflavored 🐔rubber chicken like fried rice. I still ate it because I don’t like to waste food but also because it was decently expensive 💸. 😩 NEVER RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE, SORRY!!! 😣

We have been to Monark Asian Bistro for lunch many times. Food is terrific, service is great. I suggest this to a lot of friends, and take friends who have never heard of it, always empressed with decor, cleanliness, service and FOOD!

Wonderful bistro! I greatly enjoyed the pineapple walnut chicken dish. Highly recommend.
