Was headed to Jaxson's for dinner, it was so crowded we decided to look around the area for a restaurant and stumbled across this hidden gem. The owner made room to accommodate us, which we were thankful for. It feels like a family owned spot. The waitress (middle aged lady) was pleasant, funny, just seemed like a genuinely nice person with a awesome attitude. Food was great, drinks were great. You can't go wrong with this restaurant. We've already made plans to return.

Oh my! First Lisa and Danny are incredible people. Second, the food was cooked fresh to order. Third, google needs to add 5 more stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for my review. I’ll be back

Date night with my boo, excellent family atmosphere, families enjoying their dining along with us. The owners daughter of this family owned restaurant treated us to an excellent and absolutely delicious dinner. Plenty of soft warm bread with olive oil to dip, which was heavenly. Wifey was treated to an extra spicy spaghetti, chicken parmesana, specially treated by the owner that she will not stop raving about. I myself had the cheese ravioli with a special meatball, amazing flavor with the Marinara sauce, so so good. We truly enjoyed our experience in this quaint little place that has been around for 18 years. Thank you again for the excellent service and food. Try it out.

Amazing food, family friendly! I wish they sold their sauce. So yummy! Portion size is huge and I can't wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow. Chef came out with veggies and dessert for free. Loved the family and small restaurant feel. Definitely going back! 7 people in our party and everyone loved their dishes.

Came here with family to have a late evening dinner. Absolutely worth it. Service was excellent. They treated us like we were part of their family. Everything was delicious. We had a variety of dishes that all hit the spot. The escarole and beans were some.of the best we have had, with flavorful broth and tasty sausage. The stuffed eggplant filling was super tasty, and the veal parm could, as my BIL said, could be cut without a knife. I am super.picky about red sauce and theirs was perfectly balanced. So fantastic!

This place is great! Extremely friendly and fantastic food. I like everything I have tried so I will simply discuss my last meal. I had the rack of lamb special that had a mushroom sauce on it. Absolutely packed with flavor and spot on. I also almost always order the special calamari….It’s traditional calamari but with a fantastic sauce on top. I tried the highly recommended chicken parmigiana, as expected, it did not disappoint. You really can’t go wrong and there is nothing better than being treated great when you spend money to go out to eat. I highly recommend Mundi’s.

penne a la vodka but w/ angel hair … chefs kiss. These people make me feel like if i’m entering my grandmas home. The associates of this restaurant were charming, cordial, and funny! I will definitely tell my locals about this place. I love the fact the chef or owner greeted and assured us. Fantastic every bit !!

Truly, a no-frills place with barely 10 tables. That said, I challenge you to go anywhere in the United States ANYWHERE, and find better fried calamari. Note that this dish is pretty spicy and if you are a spicy food lover, do not leave without ordering this appetizer. The portion is huge and good enough for dinner with a side of any pasta. My husband had the special which was a pork Parmesan. So huge, he could’ve fed the next table over. You can bring your own expensive bottle of wine and pay a nominal corkage fee since the wine list does leave a little bit to be desired. The only reason I say that is that the food is so amazing, it’s a sin not to have fantastic wine with it. One of the best things about this place is familiar faces. This past weekend Will finally hung it up and retired. We felt so lucky to be able to wish him the best of luck. Every single person that walked in the door was a regular. That says it all.

I had not been here in over 10 years, after discovering this gem on a business trip from Seattle. My wife and I flew into Ft Lauderdale to start a vacation and go on a cruise, she managed to locate the restaurant and we went back! There’s a new owner in the last 4 months, Lisa, who is just as warm and wonderful as the original owners, whom she knew well before she bought it. The recipes are the same, and the portions still large. Once again, I have never had such wonderful Italian food, got the eggplant parmesan, meatball appetizer with ricotta cheese that was moist and delicious, and even an off-menu side dish that I asked for from my first visit of spinach in olive oil. Absolutely LOVED this restaurant, if I could give it 10 stars, I would !! When visiting Ft Lauderdale, you MUST go to this wonderful, small, quaint and authentic family restaurant. Lisa and her entire staff are awesome, personable, and willing to do anything to make your meal more enjoyable.

This is a small restaurant with a limited menu. Unfortunately, our food was not very good and it ended up being a wasted dinner. My wife and grandmother barely touched their plates from being so bland. It felt like food that I would make myself and not worth the price. The best part was the fresh bread they gave us. The staff was very nice, but just couldn't make up for the bad food. Definitely a disappointment and not worth it.

Went there for the first time a week ago. Loved the place. Lovely atmosphere, reasonable food & wine prices and friendly staff. Met the new owner, she made us feel welcome. Our new date spot.

Great authentic Italian restaurant in a little strip mall on Dania Beach boulevard. The food was excellently prepared and of good quality and portions. The service was excellent and the restaurant was busy and several customers even commented that this is their favorite Italian restaurant.. Given the fact that it was my first time here, I was very impressed and would definitely recommend Mundi's if you have a chance to visit Dania Beach.

I want to say that this has been an amazing dinner experience tonight. The food was just incredible from the special calamari and stuffed mushrooms to the pork chop Parmesan and specialty shrimp with lemon and capers. The customer service by Evette and her team was perfect and Chef Will came table-side to describe each dish and customize for each of us! He even shared some of his secret tastes as additions to our requests. I will come back every time I’m in Ft Lauderdale and would recommend for all to try this local gem.

Some of the best authentic Italian food I’ve ever had!!! The staff is extremely friendly and super attentive! It is a family owned and operated restaurant and the owner is the sweetest man ever! I had the pleasure of having his granddaughter as my server and she was amazing! Her recommendations were spot on! I will definitely be back!

This place is a gem. I had no idea what I was getting into. Insanely delicious food. We had the muscle appetizer and it was the best appetizer I’ve ordered from anywhere in years. Then the entrees came and this became our number 1 Italian spot.

Massively DELICIOUS. Quaint, quiet and well worth the visit. All sauces are homemade, fresh parm. Etc. Affordable and incredibly friendly staff. Just go you won't be disappointed.

We are in Florida for vacation and were looking for some good home cooked meal. We looked up and decided to go to Mundi's. You will not be disappointed. A family owned restaurant. The owners are very nice and their food is fantastic. I am part Italian and I have eaten many places including family homemade food and this is by far the best.

Yes, visit. You won't regret it. These people take Italian food seriously. If not family owned then very close friends owned. The staff was very attentive, helpful and accommodating to my large party.

I was in the area and Mundi’s was recommended as a great local spot for authentic Italian food. The food was amazing and the wait staff treated us like family. The chicken parmigiana was among the best I’ve ever had. Will, the owner, stopped by the table to say hello and check to make sure we were enjoying our visit. Definitely will return. MaKe a reservation before you go to guarantee a table.

I got the veal parmigiana dinner. the veal was definitely a little tough. All I got was a decent size piece of thin veal ( which was chewy) and a side of spaghetti for 26 dollars. It also came with 2 little pieces of the most boring Italian bread. I love Italian bread but this was just sliced and served and nothing done to it. So I’m not going there again. And the funny thing is it’s supposed be family style ( I think ) and all I got was a small portion of spaghetti with my thin slice of chewy veal. Oh I forgot it also came with the littlest house salad which was just ok. Never again.
