We came by here recently for lunch and my friends ordered some mojitos which they claimed were extremely delicious. They have a vast lunch menu with many large portions and multiple options for a low price! I ordered the churrasco with veggies while my friends got the croquetas and empanadas to start, then the grilled chicken with fried plantains, rice, and beans, the grilled fish with tostones and veggies, and the ropa vieja with rice, beans, and tostones. Everyone loved their food, drinks, and appetizers. We will definitely be back to try more of the items on the menu. The staff was also very nice & helpful, and the food came out very quickly even though they had a big lunch rush on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Pretty packed but we got everything quickly and made to order!

We had a fantastic dinner here. John, our server was efficient, friendly and helpful. The mariquitas appetizer and passion fruit mojitos were delicious and the Cuban quesadilla was very filling. I would definitely return.

5/4/22 - Wednesday for lunch time . Having lunch with hubby after a very short trip from New England . Easy to find . Around 4 miles from airport to here . We greeted promptly and our waiter Vanessa super friendly . Def recommend asking for her if you can. My husband really likes this place . His fish and rice was great . I had chicken soup and yucca . Two coffees . Everything was excellent .

Love! It does get busy if you go after 5pm. So there will be a bit of a wait but not crazy unless you go for later dinner. The food is Amazing! The drinks are interesting and the desserts are yum. My favorite so far. Cannot let go of the Shrimp Enchilado with yellow rice and tostones with garlic sauce. The best I've had so far. The tostones appetizer is delicious.. We were only 2 so shared. Perfect. Flan is delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Awesome experience and food. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by the manager Rene and taken care of. The Paella was amazing, fresh, and a very generous portion. Will definitely be coming back!

Tried Padrinos Cuban Restaurant after arriving to the FLL airport, is conveniently close to the airport 10 to 15 min . The service was excellent, the food was delicious, mojito was on point and the place is clean. They have a full bar , the location is huge , great for big parties and plenty of parking. 100% recommended.

We had an amazing time during our rehearsal dinner. We had awesome servers, Maria & Jairo, who helped us get our guests fed and well hydrated. The food was delicious, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The sangria was nice and cold, and unlimited. Very nice atmosphere, family friendly. Thank you for helping us celebrate our special occasion.

This was my first experience with cuban food. My traveling group had so many options in Miami and are so happy we chose to try this restaurant. Not only was it beyond expectations, but Rene was phenomenal and extremely helpful. The restaurant was decorated well and clean. I definitely recommend the appetizer sample plate and the Ropa Vieja. The garlic mojo is perfect. I'm sad to live so far away.

As a Cuban it's sometimes hard to enjoy other Cuban food, but this place is authentic. The food was delicious the atmosphere was very chill despite most the tables being busy, it did not feel crowded at all, low light setting, the full bar really makes it feel classy as well. I would definitely recommed Padrinos if you are looking in the area looking for some authentic Cuban flavor.

I wish I could try everything on the menu. They have outdoor and indoor seating - love the aesthetic and decor inside. Kind servers and fairly speedy service. We didn’t try and of the cocktails but they looked amazing. Hope to come back again!

Making my way down to Miami from West Palm Beach and had a craving for some hearty Hispanic food, wow did this place NOT disappoint. The food was phenomenal and I loved the ambiance. Everything from the croquetas to the vaca frita to rice and beans were delicious! The mojo was perfection. The decor was beautiful (ultimately what drew me to choose this place for dinner), super modern but still true to its Cuban roots. I went on a Sunday for dinner for 4, the service was on point. What a great find, highly recommend!

I was disappointed to watch a couple of men be seated at a window table immediately after my mother and I were seated at the very back by the bathrooms in a mostly empty restaurant. Apparently, seating is arranged by skin color in this restaurant. (Photos were taken right before we left and when the restaurant had more guests).

Went to padrinos for the first time(in dania) sat at the bar. The food was good. Service was OK. I didn’t like that the couple next to us was served first even tho my friend n i was there at least 15-20 before them and we ordered the same exact thing. Made me feel like they stereotype n serve their own kind first. I dont think this a place for black ppl unless u goin in there with someone who speaks Spanish. Thats just my opinion based off of the experience i had. We ordered flan to go and it looked absolutely disgusting. As soon as i got in the car i wanted to taste but given the way it looked I decided not to eat it. Im sure they wouldn’t have served it to us lookin like this had we stayed in the restaurant to eat it. Plus I looked at pictures that other ppl have posted n their flan doesn’t look like what they gave us. If im being completely honest The flan they gave us to go looked like vomit. I wished i had checked the bag before we left. I have had flan before from different places and it NEVER looked like this so idk what was going on in the kitchen last night but that’s unacceptable.

Great service, good drinks, and tasty food. They have a full bar with tons of mixed drinks. Lots of appetizers, sandwiches, and platters on the menu. Food was ready quickly and the dishes were really good.

Chicken was delicious. But charging $17 for this size portion of chicken is unacceptable. I requested a dinner portion, guess they just made up a price on their own. For the money I should have gotten a sandwich!

First time having Cuban food and it's hard to say it wasn't good. The service was quick and the staff was very attentive. The food here is top notch if a little pricey but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and quantity.

Delicious authentic Cuban food in fun atmosphere! Every bite was delicious, and the family who owns the place seated and served us with smiles! Highly recommend for dinner! (Also get the limeade it’s so worth it!)

Delicious! We’ve been to the Hallandale beach location before but we had the pleasure to visit the Dania beach location and yesterday and had a great time. The picadillo empanadas and tres leches were our absolute favourite. Beautiful location and great service also!

The food and service was wonderful. We were staying nearby at Springhill Suites and this was an easy walk over. We were greated and seated promptly. I was worried because the menu isn't real big but it has a good variety of items. The sodas are free refills too. Very nice ambience and there is a bar with seating as well as some outdoor tables. Now to the food. We had empanadas as an appetizer and they were tasty, flavored well, and cooked to a crisp. Maybe baked and not fried not sure but tasted good. My 12 y/o son ate half of them before I got to take a pic. The guava chutney with it was a really nice addition I've never had before but added a nice little twist. We ordered the Churrasco, Pan Con Lechon and the Camarones Al Ajllo all delicious. The toasted bread they serve tasted really nice dipped in the garlic sauce that came with the Camarones Al Ajllo. We shared our entrees and treated the Camarones Al Ajllo as a 2nd app although it came with sides. The yellow rice dipped in with the shrimp or plain also tasted very good. Not too mushy or hard. The steak churasco chimichurri sauce was delicious and with some fried sweet plantains took the meal up a notch. Adding thr plantains to the sandwich was also very good. It's on my visit again list and I may even venture their again tomorrow without trying anything else.

Simply love it. The bartender recommended me the ribs with guava sauce and they were delicious. Few minutes after I waked in all the seats were taken. It is Saturday night! So I would recommend you to plan ahead and maybe try to make reservations. Don’t know if they do. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice.

We came to this location for the first time, and the look was immaculate and new. We sat at the bar to have lunch, and the service was OK at best. The bartender seemed a little overwhelmed; he needed some help. It took a long time to get our apps and bread. The drinks were on point, and the food was very good. They need a manager to oversee and help where needed.

Nice place yo have lunch with the family. Good price, big portions, great service. Home style cooking in a modern Cuban restaurant. We had a few different dishes and we all enjoyed our plates. Mt favorite: the Cubano sandwich but we friend had the palomilla stake and she lived it, my husband had the chicken and he live that, we also had the cesar salad and it was large and looked really yummy.

So good!! We ate outside to reduce covid risk but we I went inside to use the restroom. I was so surprised; the interior looked amazing. But more importantly, the food, drinks, desert, and service were all spectacular. Next time we’re in the MIA-FLL area, I’ll be sure to return.

My friend and I were looking for a good place to eat after going to the movies, and someone suggested to us that we try Padrino‘s Cuban restaurant. I love Cuban food, so I was definitely excited to try this place out. The restaurant is decorated as a chic Havana restaurant playing Cuban music throughout the day. We met our waitress who helped us navigate the menu, and was very nice. We started off with combination Cubana platter as an appetizer which has loads of different Cuban staple dishes such as croquetas, mariquitas, picadillo empanadas, and Tostones. Every thing was amazing on the platter. My favorite was the empanadas, which were packed with flavor and crunchy. We then ordered the Pollo asado, and bistec de pollo as our entrées. When I tell you, this is the most tender and juiciest chicken breast I have ever had. Not only was the chicken packed with flavor, their beans and rice were great as well. My friend and I are already planning our next trip to Padrino to try more of their menu options.

First impression Look nice happy atmosphere. Server very friendly and great attitude. The server know the menu and willing to answer any question. He brought comple.entary cuban toast. (Basicly garlic bread toast) I was excellent Order Lechon asado With moro and Yuca (Rosted pork with Moro and Yuca yam). Flavor was perfectly balanced, Meat was tender cooked to perfection. I am not a fan of rice and bean. However the Moro rice was good the yucca moist and garlicky. Excellent food. Definitely one of the Best Cuban restaurants I have visited

This review is strictly based on the take out order and the small portion of Ropa Vieja that I received. The Ropa Vieja was also missing the black beans in the order. The small order of RV was mostly sauce and little meat. As a native Cuban, and a frequenter of numerous Cuban restaurants, I expect more from a mainstay in the Cuban cuisine scene. Fortunately, I ordered boiled Yuca and tostones, which were good. Cuban restaurants are known for their family style, good sized portions. Especially at $18 for RV, I felt the order lacking.
