I have dreamed of going on a safari since I was a little girl. I was always in love with the animals and the landscape. I was nervous to finally go - would it live up to thirty years of dreaming!? It did, and beyond! Selous Safari Company gave me an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. They organize everything from the moment you land - a driver to take you through Dar es Saleem, smaller plane rides out to the bush, and your activities. The game rides are amazing, the guides knowledgeable and inspiring. The camp is the perfect combination of luxury and authenticity, and the food is the best I have ever eaten in my life. There are so many animals to see - it's a constant and the guides even know exactly how and where to find the rarer animals. Every little detail is thought of and the staff are so wonderful. If you want to go on safari, pick Tanzania. It's not touristy, but still authentic and concerned with conservation and giving the animals a natural habitat.
