A nice place with old world charm. The view is very good though interrupted with the traffic and lots of electricity wires. Situated on one of the most important roads of Darjeeling, u can't miss it. It is a landmark. Looks good.

It is the iconic heritage structure and a prominent landmark of the city and the building on which it stands houses the Darjeeling Municipality. The Chowk market and the Mall market are at walking distance from the tower. The 100 foot high stone tower along with the town hall was built around the year 1920.The clock tower has four faces just like the Big Ben, an octagonal gable roof and a flag staff on top. It is located at the junction of Gandhi Road and Ladenla Road.

Darjeeling clock tower is the iconic heritage structure and a important landmark of the city and the building on which it stands houses the Darjeeling Municipality. The Chowk market and the Mall market are at walking distance from the tower. The Darjeeling Clock Tower located at the junction of Gandhi Road and Ladenla Road is now a much neglected heritage structure and has not kept up with the times, literally. It is still a prominent landmark of the city and the building on which it stands houses the Darjeeling Municipality. The Chowk market and the Mall market are at walking distance from the tower. The 100 foot high stone tower along with the town hall was built around the year 1920. The hall is big enough for 600 people, there was a reading room and a square. The clock tower has four faces just like the Big Ben, an octagonal gable roof and a flag staff on top.

A very important historical landmark in the midst of a busy Darjeeling town. A token of British colonial times. The Darjeeling clock tower is a must see for all tourists. It's also a hotspot. On one one side there is the hill cart road leading to the Darjeeling joyride toy train station. On the other side there is the keventers Darjeeling and Darjeeling mall leading to the famous Glenary bakery and mahakal temple and new mahakal market and the observatory hill. So there is the ease of access to a lot of tourist attractions.

Serene. Peaceful. Calm. Truly beautiful place. The humdrum of life of each person has different story to tell. Balloon sellers, peanut sellers, chat wale, street shopping, β˜•οΈ sellers etc at one place. There’s this unmatched pleasure to sit here, have garam lemon chai and maggi and enjoy the sanctity of this place. One will find many dogs 🐢 here too. Don’t miss an evening here in your tourist plan.

Nice place and well decorated . It's a very good landmark . Though the place is situated at one of the most crowdy places of Darjeeling but still this place has a different kind of vibe . All the hotels near mall road is just walking distance away from the spot . You should visit this place once in the evening the lighting and the decoration you simply shouldn't miss .

There are many landmarks in Darjeeling town, West Bengal state that remind us of the past colonial period under the British.Β  There are historical schools, churches buildings, etc. You may find some of them on the Laden-La road, one beingΒ  the Darjeeling Municipality Building where an impressive and beautifulΒ  Clock TowerΒ  stands majestically in the front part. In 1850, the building came up and laterΒ  it was converted into a Town Hall as there was not a public building to host meetings, parties, ball, etc.Β The town hallΒ  was declared a heritage site by the West Bengal Heritage Commission
