Muss hier mal eine Lanze für das Café Hess brechen nach all den miesen Rezensionen hier. Das Essen ist wirklich super, Getränke überragend, Preise wirklich fair. Klar, die Dame an der Bar ist nicht immer die freundlichste, begegnet man ihr jedoch mit einem Lächeln, bekommt man meist auch eins zurück. Was vielleicht an Freundlichkeit flöten geht, wird in Effizienz wieder aufgeholt. Noch nie musste ich unangemessen lange auf die Bestellung warten und das obwohl auch am Wochenende, wenn die Hütte wirklich brennt, maximal der Besitzer und Barfrau vor Ort sind. Toll ist auch das auf Vertrauen basierte Bezahlsystem, findet man nur noch selten. Auch wenn das Hess brechend voll ist, wissen die Mitarbeiter irgendwie immer genau was man hatte, auch wenn man sich selbst nach 7 Bier nicht mehr ganz genau entsinnen kann. Den Besitzer hab ich stets als ruhigen, netten Menschen kennengelernt. Warum er hier jedoch auf die schlechten Bewertungen so böse reagiert, verstehe ich nicht, auf das Niveau muss er sich gar nicht herablassen, denn das Hess ist wirklich eine top Adresse in Darmstadts Abendkultur.
