The staff really makes this place. Everything is clean and efficient, the breakfast is excellent, and if you need assistance the front desk crew are friendly and helpful. It is an older property, so the rooms are a bit plain, but they've still made it a great place to stay.

Very central location. Very nice hotel. Staff very helpful and with good advises on where to go out, places to visit and public transport information. All with a smile from the reception staff (Special Hi to Sabine!). Very comfortable and clean room. Great overall experience. I would definitively go back to this hotel next time in Darmstadt!

Friendly staff and convenient location, at walking distance from the city center. Building is not really nice and feels oddly placed near a car parc (which can be handy if you have one). rooms are small but well equipped.

Althoug the staff is friendlier and more helpful than anywhere else, the rooms are a bit too small and simple. This is not a big problem, but I had mould in one towel and in the bathroom door frame. The breakfast is quite ok and the location is very good for a walk in Darmstadt.

If you know who M.C.Escher is, he got his inspiration here: it's the most confusing & stair-spangled hotel that I know! Anyone who cannot face stairs & long, confusing walks should avoid it. Expensive for what's offered. Nice personnel.

I always stay in this hotel when I'm in Darmstadt, and it's absolutely outstanding. The breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious, with lots of choice and variety. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and recently updated, and the whole place is very quiet and peaceful. The staff are incredibly polite, helpful and efficient, and the the entire hotel is spotlessly clean. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Conference room was clean and comfortable and the coffee nice

Very nice hotel Friendly service but no elevator to 2nd floor. You have to drag your suitcase up steps but staff assisted. They had a drop off point for your suitcases which was nice. Would recommend staying here.

Very good hotel with all facilities needed for a Business Trip. Breakfast was nice AS Well with variety. My single rooms was spaceous neat and Clean. There are ample parking places. A definitely recommended hotel.

Good Hotel with best location. No restaurant in evening, vegan food options not available. Very nice chess board. Hotel staff behaviour is nice. Air conditioners need big improvement as it was the hottest period of my stay of about 8 days.

Bedding too hot. Even with cold room (I put aircon on full) I couldn't have sheets fully covering me as I overheated. Also, upon check-out the receptionist insisted that I didn't have any means of payment for the room on file. I had to wake my admin staff to get emails sent. THEN her colleague showed her that in fact the card was already authorised. I was not happy that she didn't know where to look for such a thing.

Great location surrounded by very busy area, shops and food everywhere. Great service and good clean rooms.

This was an excellent hotel great location, they were excellent with my Gluten free Lactose free diet, nothing was too much trouble.

Tram noise at one end where my room was located. But glad that they changed the room after a few days of stay.
