Don’t expect so much but anyway not bad Good location near the Darmstadt train station. The staff was not helpful maybe Because they lack the English language They don’t have a smile on their face. The rooms don’t have water boilers I had to take the hot water from the reception.don’t miss the breakfast 5 star the best thing in this hotel.

Don't stay at this hotel if you like service. The employees are really rude, specially the receptionists. Really expensive for what you get in return. I will not recommend this place ever. We travelled with just enough clothes for the stay of 5 days, some clothes disappeared from our lounge. Really avoid this hotel. The rudeness of the employees will for sure disappoint you. People travel for having a good time. Not meeting rude people at the place people stay in.

The rooms are good. The location also good just 3 minutes from the darmstadt central station. But the people that work inside are so rude. Especially M s weber. It's so so rude woman. This woman haven't to work at this hotel.

The Maritim Hotel near Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof is a superb choice. Its proximity to the train station is incredibly convenient, making it perfect for travelers. The hotel offers fine amenities and a comfortable stay, creating a memorable experience for guests.

Had to spend one night here due to a flight cancelation on my way to Toronto. The hotel is below average. There was one lady who took care of the group affected by the flight cancelation who was really helpful. It is due to her alone that the total experience was average....otherwise it would have been awfully bad. Hotel room service is almost not there...guys at the restaurant were not helpful at all. Food is less than average.

Very old and dusty rooms, go for an upgrade if you want to have rooms like the ones presented on their website. Rooms sound isolation is also quite bad, so you can hear everything happening outside of the room. Parking is very narrow, so if you have a big/wide car e.g. like Q7, Q8, it could be quite tight. Location is convenient because it is close to Autobahn and the train station. But given the price/quality trade off, probably there are better options available.

Very clean and nice hotel and the staff was very friendly. I liked the big balcony and the massage shower. The bed is also very comfortable, I left my toothbrush at home I got a nice package from the reception. I cannot say anything bad about the experience.

Typical hotel chain, but in a positive way. You know exactly what to expect and what you will get. Spacious rooms, clean, with a small selection of tea and coffee. Reception is helpful and there to support. Breakfast is standard continental, so nothing special, but a the same time a more than enough selection. Parking is extremely tight, may cause problems with a bigger car.

Rooms and breakfast are good. Dinner menu has a small variety of dishes, as you have other Restaurants around the Trainstation not a big deal. The reception was very friendly, but may not know their own rules. It was a new experience for me to pay parking fee as hotel guest. 20 Euro is not a bargain as well. I was told, that the first night is free. I decided to return my rental car the next day. When I checked out after 2 weeks I had to pay the Parking fee not even apologize for possible misunderstanding. I am an international traveler since 32 years. If I have the choice, Maritim Hotel will be not my choice for next time. I made a mistake, that I thought the experience of other travelers was an exception. It is a pity, that such experience overshadowed the whole stay. The parking fee will be mentioned in my Agoda review as well. I hope it helps other travelers.

Good afternoon from Goiania Brazil We came home last night from our 10 day stay at the Maritim hotel in Darmstadt. This was our second year in a row to stay at the hotel. My wife and I have nothing but great things to say about the staff ,the room, the bar and most of all the wonderful breakfast. Huge compliments go out to Axel, Alina Barbara and the rest of the staff at the reception desk. Michael at the bar certainly makes that a place to visit and a great place to eat some late night dinners and drinks. The cleaning staff was very polite and did a great job cleaning our room daily. This time we stayed on the 7th floor. The room is almost soundproof once you close the balcony door. The beds are very comfy and the room was always spotless. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We will certainly be back next year or in the very near future. A big hello goes out to Barbara as we missed her this time. I have been there a couple of times since it's relative close to the Hauptbahnhof and there I get the bus to the airport in Frankfurt. That's a great advantage while traveling. Good rooms, comfortable to stay in

Very nice place for business purposes. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Pity that the stairs are not more promoted because the elevators aren’t that fast (ok… 11 floors).

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff and a beautiful bar and restaurant. The buffet breakfast was really high quality with a very good selection to choose from. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to return to Darmstadt.

Our company is located in Darmstadt, with employees scattered throughout Germany. We frequently stay as a group for several days, and I've personally visited more than 10 times. On my last visit, the front desk lady kindly mentioned that I would receive a complimentary upgrade on my next stay due to a previous unpleasant experience. I mentioned this to Peter, the front desk attendant this time, and he agreed to the upgrade. However, to my dismay, I ended up in the smallest, oldest room at the very end of the hallway… It was quite a letdown. If you can't fulfill your promises, at least be decent and be honest with your customers rather than treating them as a fool. A slow clap for Peter's handling of the situation 😇🙌

Great place. Staff is super helpful and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and lighting is good. Only negative is the doorless shower which is common now. Water on the floor is not good.

The only questionable things are the room carpets. Otherwise, it's a pretty great stay. Breakfast is always delicious, the pool is nice and clean, and the staff are all very friendly.

Breakfast is great and staff really nice. But also note that this is an older hotel with dated furnishing, from probably the 80s judging from the look and feel. It is, however, well maintained and clean and the bathrooms have been refurbished. If you are looking for a contemporary place to stay, this is not the place for you. The location is great though, a few steps from the main train station.

Really nice hotel for stay in Darmstadt as it is well connected with central railway station. In walkable distance you can reach supermarket, local tram and bus stops, close to Darmstadt city center. Rooms are well cleaned and has free wifi.

Nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable and cosy. It is not a super modern hotel, but all you need is available on your room. Very friendly stuff and delicious breakfast with wideo choose od everything you could wish. Thank you for this stay, I will be back for sure!

I regularly go to Darmstadt for work and the Maritim is effectively my go-to hotel. (I have tried quite a few) The rooms are a good size and while they do show the age of the place, they're generally well-maintained. The breakfast is really good, with loads of options. Wifi is about adequate for general use, though I would not risk even the premium one for important video meetings. The showers are super nice, especially for tall people like myself, sporting digital controls and both a ceiling-mounted and handheld showerhead. The swimming pool and sauna downstairs are perfectly fine, if you're into that sort of thing. Location's great, easy walk from the train station and near many tram/bus lines, and the staff has always been helpful.

We had an unexpected overnight stay here due to our flight having to emergency land in Frankfurt. The staff were so welcoming to our large group. They were so organised with information for us and happy to help in anyway they could. The rooms they provided were extremely spacious and well presented. The bathrooms were large as well. Our room had a small balcony which was nice. They provided an amazing dinner at short notice and the breakfast was just as nice. Thank you all so much for your hospitality.

Bedrooms are big, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms have showers and are properly maintained. Location is good in terms of connections, however the junction get noisy for the traffic already at 5am. Good breakfast. Restaurant closes really early at 9.30pm. Considering that customers are mainly there for work and work can end late, it would be reasonable to have a limited service also for later hours.

Was here again 10/31/22 - 11/5/22, my last stay was 3 years ago before Covid. Still a clean and safe place to stay. Carpets need updating. Restaurant is good, but they really need to have coffee available both in the rooms and lobby for guests.

Room is nice but not super clean. Service is ok but they have rule if you reject cleaning you room next day to save nature, you will get some gift in a small bag on your door next morning. I didnt get anything i asked why they told me you can take a bag. 😄 If i new they are lying i would not reject cleaning the room next morning. For me enough to not come any more.

Everything looks good. Do the people at reception/service desk can talk a bit nice possibly with smile? Being patience is an important part of the job which reflects on how people talk and deal. Kindly act as human not as robot. Seriously upset being welcomed by an old lady at the desk.

You made my holiday! We were just driving south of Germany, but stuck here as it feels like we arrived to real holiday! Proximity to Train station we afraid most (I refer to experience you can have in Frankfurt) appeared to be not a problem at all. Station is civilized at distance: about 300m from entrance and facing different street. I highly recommend this hotel!

Heating is permanent on in the room without temperature regulation and this makes me to endure high summer temperature in March. Do they care about climate change at all?!

general I think it's quite good, but really the following 2 points I DO suggest the new guests consider if you also don't like. 1. if living there for more than one day, still I could not have a daily bottle water, instead, I need to buy myself somewhere else. 2. Air conditioner is not working well the whole night, warm is good, but I turned to cold mode, it's not working at all, only to heat the room, so only can do is to turn off, but it has already impacted my sleeping.

I had great time in this Hotel it was near to Central train station and also near to city center. Clean and nice place at all.

Great breakfast and rooms sizes are great however cleanliness of the rooms don't deserve even one star,hairs could be found everywhere in beds,bathrooms walls,Handstains on windows,not just my room however my friend room was at two floors above me and we saw the same issues , B&B Hotel Darmstadt room cleanliness away much better.
