We organized here a surprise birthday dinner. We were allowed to bring our own decoration and cake. Food was good. The waiter was very friendly. They have a parking. They play all the time music. Food was also good. I had the tapas and was more the enough for me.

Didn't like it at all. Server was getting very irritated as it was taking me a longer time to study the menu as my friends. They are regulars and know the menu by heart. It was my first time back here in 3 1/2 years. Used to be a nice place but I think next time I will try a different restaurant as I feel like the waitress was bothered by taking care of us and it was too much for her to even serve us. Thanks but no thanks !!

Good food, quite costly cocktails and long waits

Cu Bana Darmstadt It is a few years since my last visit Cu Bana the Cuban themed cocktail bar / Restaurant in down town Darmstadt. We visited Sunday after church the interior is decorated in the style of a bar in down town Havana, one wall is full of photos of one Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz the Cuban president , the restaurant is split in two rooms the one at back was open to the sunshine with its by-folding doors. It was back to the diet tonight so the choice was a salad I decided on a "colourful salad" with tuna, the tuna was very plenty full and the salad was colourful carrot spring onion lettuce tomato egg cheese and not forgetting the cucumber plus dressing. The service our waitress gave was good. This is the best Cuban restaurant I have been to, it is the only one but it is well worth a visit and I will return.

Very interesting Interpretation of Mexican/Spanish food and cocktails in general. Depending what you are looking for, this might be your place, but it is standard and you should not expect genuine local Mexican or Spanish food quality. 2 Stars because I have high expectations when it comes to food and drinks. The interior I liked very much.

Good ambience, wide range on the menu although the waitress seemed like a real pain in the *** ! But I would go there again for sure!

Excellent food, a large variety of drinks and fabulous cocktails. Good prices too. And the service was top class! I will always come back when I visit Darmstadt! If you get to visit Darmstad don't hesitate to visit Cubana!!

We went here a while back already, but it's ingraved in my mind! The cocktails were nice, dont expect the best you will ever have, but in general, they were good. We were there with a bigger group and so had a wide variety of cocktails. Even though i personally like the sweeter cocktails, some were a bit too sweet for my taste. But this is where it all went downhill. We were waiting for the food for a while, so some members of our group went for a smoke or the toilet, so when the food finally arrived there were 3 of the 10 people on the table. We tried to help them with the places of the order but were not sure about them. Once everyone was back, we realised we didn't get all the correct orders! However, this was apparent all our fault if we had to believe the waiter. We went back 4 times until they came to the table to check it out. It was clearly wrong since we had 2 with chicken but only 1 chicken dish. Here, the first reaction was to say that one of us was hiding it. After we all showed our beef in the role. She took the plate angerly and walked away. No apology or anything. Then, when it finally came back, the burrito was burnt on the top. Like fully black !!! My recommendation is do not go here!!!!!!!!!!!They made us out for liars, and once they found out it was indeed their fault they didn't apologise but brought us burnt food back !!!!!!

Really cool place to hang out. I love their Rollos. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a wide variety of cocktails.

Cubana convinces with beautiful decorations, great drinks and food and lots of space for big parties. If you want to enjoy some cocktails and Latin American food, this is the place to go to in Darmstadt.

The drinks are a bit expensive, but you can have a great time here!

By far the worst service ever and especially the blond waitress doesn't accept card payment...

Visited this place for a V-Day dinner for the first time. Huge place, with different areas of seating depending on your vibes. Where we sat was a bit dull compared to the inner more energetic environment. We ordered drinks, one starter (not pictured here) that was shared between 2 and two main dishes which we could not finish as the portions were huge. The drinks were absolutely great but the taste of food could have been a little better. The portions felt bulky and a bit under seasoned but maybe that’s just my Indian tastebuds 😛 All in all a good place to visit with a bunch of friends or your SO. We were first asked to pay cash (saying that the card machine was out of order), but when the staff saw us struggling to get cash (we were not carrying any), they said that the card machine was working.
