This is given to both Eyes on Lacewood and Eyes on Portland...only because they helped pick out frames. Better honesty, better followup and faster completion of an order is needed - they will not get my business going forward. July 19th I ordered and was advised they would "rush" glasses and sunglasses as mine were left on a plane. After calls, emails, and going in for 2 months, September 13th the glasses arrived but not the sunglasses. In order to be given the glasses, I HaD to pay the balance. Well going without progressives for the summer was no fun so they had me... It is now October 12th (going on 3 months) and I today went in, no sunglasses - but got a call later in the day saying they put the incorrect prescription in them and sent them back to the lab! I laughed out loud. After 7 weeks, I asked for a refund and that got nowhere- no one got back to me at all. They had my insurance money and my cash. Last week I reluctantly ordered the third pair at Bedford- said Happy New Year to the manager and fingers crossed maybe they will arrive for Valentine's Day.... No one should wait that long for glasses, especially when told they would be rushed. They are not set up to offer a 3 for 1 "deal" and they should NOT be supported for basically giving lip service excuses to customers. I could name the managers I encountered but why bother, they know. Oh, and when asked to speak to Dr Chow, that was a whole other review I could vent to you about...

Had a great experience here for my second visit in early October. Tayla helped me choose my glasses, and she was very sweet and friendly. And honest about what worked for my face and what didn't, which I really appreciated. A gentleman helped me out as well towards the end, but I can't recall his name. Losing a star for the prices. I wear progressives, and even with a small discount and my insurance covering the exam, I still had to shell out about $500. I met Dr. Chow for the first time, and our exam was quite quick. I found him very matter-of-fact, which some other reviewers here might find off-putting, but I just found him straightforward. Nothing stuck out to me as problematic. I was also explained to clearly that my new glasses could take up to 8 weeks to deliver, just like my first visit a couple of years ago. I think some other people are just impatient. Overall a good experience despite the hit to my wallet. Eye and dental care is health care and should be covered as such by the province.

I recently had an appointment at the Eyes on Portland location with Dr. Maillet. She was great and following that, I worked with the staff to find some new glasses as my prescription had changed. Michael, Josh and Victoria were so much help to me in selecting 3 frames (as I was taking advantage of the 3 for 1 promotion). Choosing glasses frames is typically a bit of an annoyance for me as I have a hard time selecting what frames would best suit me, but these 3 staff members were great for helping me pick frames I likely wouldn't have picked on my own, and providing second and third opinions. I really appreciated the help from from all 3 of them. Michael was the one that was my first point of contact but I appreciated him bringing Josh and Victoria and their help and opinions into my buying process as well. I can't wait to receive my new frames!

If possible, I would give a ranking of minus-star. Horrible experience & I cannot fully articulate how strongly I suggest shopping elsewhere. After ordering my glasses early Sep, I still (1 Dec) have no idea as to when I might expect them. Conveniently, their voicemail is full, so I have the option of try calling again later. When last I asked to escalate, I was told that the Dr was with a patient, & so couldn't take my concern at that time. They offer 3 pairs at a good deal, but cannot satisfy their own promotion. I cannot get my $1000 back, nor do I have what I paid for. 5 star on a scale of ridiculous, if that's something to strive for.

Great selection of glasses. Michael and Josh in the shop are absolutely some of the most amazing employees. I had to have my son’s glasses repaired under the warranty Joshua went out of his way to go to the Bedford store to pick him up for me to ensure I had them the next day.

I have never been more disappointed in a service (of any kind) in my life. Just spoke to Victoria who was nearly sociopatic with her lack of empathy or regard for right and wrong. I would recommend never using this company or their services. 10 weeks for glasses, two different offices, hundreds of dollars etc. useless.

Just stopped in to find a pair of frames. I've been searching for a year. Michael was a big help. I finally found some frames that I like. He broke the pricing down for me so it was easy to understand. I will definitely be going back.

I've been with Eyes in Portland for years. Tonight I had the privilege of having James help me pick out my glasses and Michael helped with putting my order in. They were both so great! Thanks for all your help!
