A new hidden gem. Recently under new ownership, this place has some good food at low prices. The new owners are making some great improvements. They've recently added live music events. Excellent service and good cooks. Try the curry! It's amazing!

Go to this place! New owners took over about 2 years ago, and they're great. The food is excellent, better than Pleasant Street Diner. They make an amazing curry dish once a week. Though the building lacks charm, they've managed to make it very cozy and welcoming inside. Great space for parties and other functions.

Finally tried curry special, really awesome and amazing taste. Great community place for pool, dart, lots of room and open area. Definitely, highly recommend curry and homemade burgers. Let’s support local business. Will visit next time for sure for the signature Lamb burger.

The family who run the restaurant immediately made us feel like one of the family. The food was delicious and the beer was inexpensive. Fantastic place can't wait to go again.

We dropped in to Woodside March 18th and had an excellent time. The owner was very personable, a local neighborhood bar where you can relax, play some pool, chat. We're looking forward to going back again.

My original review needs updating to reflect solid and interesting pub food (both the curry and the pot stickers are good!), still a good place for reasonably priced drinks and they've now built a proper stage for entertainment. The Sunday open mic is fantastic. Still great regulars and owners. Still pool tables. A solid local pub and an underrated Dartmouth institution, now even better than the first review I wrote in 2018; it's five years later and this spot still rules.

Wanted to go visit an old school tavern there are very few left. Neat old atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu options. Burgers, calamari and dumplings were excellent. We will be back!

GET THE CURRY!!!! Authentic and simply delicious. Chicken caesar wrap and fries also great.

Food was 10/10, service was impeccable and the locals were friendly. Amazing curry. Better than most of the Indian restaurants in Halifax. We will definitely be coming back on a regular basis.

Hidden gem! Food was excellent. Their onion rings are home made. Cuper chunky and crispy. The chicken caesar wrap was really big and full of tender chicken. Chicken curry was great also. Will be coming again as food was great and not overpriced.

Ok wow, tried the dumplings and they were so good. Came back another time and tried the curry, also delicious! Love the new menu items. Also can't go wrong with the traditional pub fare. Had a burger here and it was good!

Great local pub! Nice & friendly! They sell a very good curry which is a must try, nice cold cheap beer. 2 Pool tables, nice easy relaxed atmosphere

We tried the Momos (Dumplings) there and the taste was superb! Probably the only place you can find authentic Dumplings/Momos in Halifax and Dartmouth. Also a chill place to hangout and the place is run by family who are super friendly. Highly recommended!

This was my first time checking out the Woodside Beverage Room and I'm glad I did! This place gave me all the nostalgic feels of an old school Nova Scotia diner and the food was great! I had the classic cheeseburger and was blown away with the quality. The Woodside Beverage room is definitely my new go-to lunch spot when in Woodside!

Cannot recommend this place enough. First time visit today, showed up on bicycles with a few friends and sat on the patio. The owners are super friendly, quick with service and cook up some great food. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food - I had the burger and poutine while a friend had the curry. All of the previous reviews are bang on: everything was great. The curry is a must try. It was a bit quiet upon arrival and you could tell post-covid, they were happy for new customers. I was honestly a bit hesitant at first because I love my craft beer downtown, but minutes after sitting down this felt great. Give it a try.

Wicked burger!! Handmade! Huge!!! All fresh ingredients. Mom & Pop place, super friendly and real. No "actual" menu, they just make about 10 things really really great!! Put away your judgement and comparison to other so-called neighborhood pubs, this place is totally worth it!
