Went to try buffet. Waited 10 mins for a server. I was only one there for buffet atm. She was very nice however. Bologna was not cooked. Pretty much raw and cold. Chicken balls, slimy. Rice... Clumped together. Sausages were great. Bacon, just the way I like.. Crispy! Hash browns, good. Omelette was good. However I would like my veggies cooked a bit more. Beans, wonderful! I mixed some bacon and sausage together and great! No juice comes with. Just coffee and tea. For the price I would expect much better selection and warm food. None was what u could call warm. Some cold even. Plus had a 2 dollar charge for what I do not know? Maybe coffee and tea...?? Came to 21. And change and then my mysterious 2 bucks which made this meal 23 and change. Not worth the price. Service was not the best. Nor was in bad. I will not be going back, nor will I be recommending to my friends. Receipt in pics?

Great food, and pleasant atmosphere. In the afternoon it's quieter, and it's spacious enough that you don't feel crowded. The food is amazing, I've never had a bad meal here, quite the opposite! Have brought friends here and they've been extremely happy with prices and quality of meals, as well as awesome service! Post-pandemic things are quieter in the evening, but the food remains excellent! I'm never disappointed here. Great variety of meals, desserts, and always great value for your money. The staff is wonderful, as well.

The place looks like a regular pub, until the musicians start to play. The quality of the sound in that place is extraordinary. Not sure why it isn't talked about more, because it really stands out as a concert venue. If you want good pub food and crystal-clear live music, this is the place for you!

Well unfortunately this place has done a complete 180, I've been going here for over 5 years and always loved this place and there food. I decided to take my mother today and it was night and day difference in the quality and portions of the food. I ordered clams and chips for $21 and got 6 clams 3 of which where strips and all of which were chewy as heck, the gravy has cold and the fries where undercooked. My mother has ordered the same thing here everytime, cheeseburger and a side spinich salad.. today was the first time she could not finish the burger said it tasted horrible.. I took a bite... whatever that is it's not hamburg.. All the people sitting at other tables were complaining aswell about the fish was not haddok and very fishy, there fries also undercooked, another guy got a beef dip and the meat was as think as a credit card, like 1 tiny slice... Anyway I'll never go back to this rip off of a place. Ps.. I did ask the waitress (who was very nice and very sorry) if they got a new cook and indeed they did.

Place was clean and service was pretty good. Food didn't take long to get and tasted good. Gave it a 4 star because we ordered a poutine and when we received it, i was like where the hell is the curd cheese. I might of seen 10 little pieces. So, Don't order that because i will never order again. Wings was great and my wife had the fish & chips in which she said it was good. Cheers!

First time there with my daughter and a friend. Came in just for food,a sever came asked me if my daughter was under 19. She is 18 . Denied service right there so we had to leave. ☆Our normal place is Big leagues. I guess this place has different rules for bar and grill. We won't be back!!!! keep Your Apologies

Staff was amazing. Ordered the pizza am sad to say was not good. No flavor. Salad was good.

Even after roaming for a bit look for a seat, so they knew we were there, we then waited for 5 minutes before we were acknowledged. Another 7 minutes to get our menus. The food servicer had to take our drink order because the fella walked past us 3 times. Another 8 minutes before server returned to take our order. Understanding the food took 10 to 15 to get to us. It's a shame that we had this experience. It was my first time there and my friend told about how good it was. I can't see me going back.

Went for the weekend brunch buffet and it's not that great anymore. They cooked a massive ham but the slices they give are ice cold. They are making the stuff in small batches as required which is not ideal for some items. Example: corned beef hash ran out when we arrived, none was brought out for atleast 30 minutes, and when my father finally got some he was very disappointed as none of the flavors has time to melody, they just threw it together and sent it out when this item is better after it melodies and could have had a big batch made a day or 2 ahead of time. It gets the 2 stars because they still make omelets to order.

I had the 3pc chicken with Mashed potatoes. It was a busy spot today. They are short-staffed, but the server was run off her feet! She is the best server! The chicken was supposed to be “southern fried”, but it had a very crispy thin coating and overcooked. Couldn’t eat an actual whole piece. The potatoes were real thou…. The building needs a major upgrade from when it was Steak and Stein many years ago. The carpet is terribly worn and dirty and the women’s bathroom was ridiculous. 1 stall would not lock and the paper towel was above you, and depending which end was open, you had to reach behind you……I laughed because it was so foolish. I visited for the first time in years and was pleasantly surprised with the service!!! The food has always been good here, but I was not fond of the service. What a difference! Our server was super friendly and very fast!!!! Sunday Brunch is back on!!!! 😋

Went for Father's Day brunch. They were understaffed as they had not been expecting a big rush. Even the bartender was waiting tables. Long wait to be served but we had anticipated they would be busy. The food was great only draw back was that the suage was deep fried. Opted for breakfast from menu over buffet as I can not eat enough to justify $21.99. Enjoyed the food and will go back.

Went there on my lunch break. Waited 35 minutes and watched 2 other tables who ordered after us get there food before us. Ended up leaving the restaurant without having any food. Service was not good and I still haven't eaten. It was my first time going there and it was my last time. I won't be back... Absolutely terrible.

If you want to go to a bar , have wings and drink, without having to dress up, this is the place. Centrally located In Dartmouth, you can get a bus home, it's right there. Friendly staff. One of the few places that still pays for live bands. And the food is great. Drink specials. Daily menu specials. Everyone is trying to be the fancy restaurant. Where does the common Joe go? Doolittle's. They know what I drink. They chat you up. There's no drama. The owner tries very hard to give people what they want. From bouncer ,to server, to owner , he's a decent guy. Fully recommended. It's your new watering hole.

Very rude customer service by the male bartender. The food was horrible, the burger didnt even have any sauce in it. The chicken wings was not bad. Sometimes the customer service will help to stabilize the drawback of food on this case they failed at both. Really sorry to say this...

As a restaurant not good. Frozen food cooked by chef Mike. Service ok at Best. Hair in the food and honestly quite expensive. Mic Mac has similar prices for quality food. Go here for drinks probably fine. For food. Actually revolting.

Food well prepared attention to detail as per our request. The new waitress exceeded our expectations. I can recommend the potatoes skins and the clubhouse with "real turkey. Thank you Doolittle's

The food is below average, at best. I have an oppinion that it's very difficult to screw up a burger- but this place managed to do it. Our food was cold, obviously microwaved, and arrived at different times. By the time I was finished my burger, my cousin had just got her flavorless fettuccine. Not to mention the last two times we've gone, there's been a salsa dance class being held. There are far better places to eat. I would not recommend.

If you have poor service and actually complain the kitchen staff will threaten you with bodily harm and the patrons will assault you if you respond they will lie to the police when you try to report it when they arrive, and if you wait the half hour it takes for halifax police to respond to an assault in progress your waitress will call her gangster friends to come threaten your life. not sure about the food because I never got it. But over all, skip this place

Had 🥔 skins and it was a lot of food and good price. Tasted great and ill come back to order more.

A few friends and I go for wings every Thursday. Last week it was Dave Doolittles. The wings at Doolittles are one of the biggest in the city and at $0.85 a wing, min 10, are worth the price. As per most wing nights, a drink purchase is required. Doolittles also has draft specials to compliment the wings. My only complaint is the wings are not covered in enough sauce.
