Great facility in this community! My family enjoyed it and will be back! We are fortunate to have it.

Great place for interesting food and handmade goods. There was a variety of coffee cookies pretzels and other baked goods. There was also a type of fast-food restaurant with seafood. The prices seemed a little high but overall a great market. Parking is plentiful and accessible.

Was at the Ribfest and yes the ribs all tasted amazing!!!! the local band playing at it when we were there sounded really good.

Lots of great things happen at Alderney landing. Google asked me to write a review, but I was there that day for fish and chips at Evans. As usual it was amazing. But other than Evans, there is countless reasons to go there. There is a great theatre with shows, the farmers market on the weekend is awesome. The library is amazing, and there are a lot of great shops.

A ferry point to get across to the Halifax side of town. Getting tickets and onto and off the boat is a relatively easy process, even for a newbie like me.

I went to an outdoor event about a month ago and it was amazing!! What a great location with a great view! Especially in the evening with all of the city lights and sunset reflecting off of the water 😍

Wonderful view from Alderney landing looking towards Halifax. Lots of parking spaces and public transport is very convenient. Ferry is great way to have a quick tranfer from Alderney landing terminal to Halifax waterfront.

Just a beautiful view, also a cool stage right by the water for events, and lovely walk along the path. Free! Accessible! And you can go there at night to see the city view of Halifax!

Rock the Harbour was amazing! Awesome music, great food! It was very well layed out, a perfect spot for a concert like that!

Nice Ferry Terminal, with Ferries that give a great view of beautiful Halifax Waterfront, Peggy's Cove and other beautiful places

It's just amazing. It quite fast as compared to bus . It is very much affordable and if any MacDonald bridge is closed or any heavy traffic in that case we can catch ferry ⛴️. And I mostly like the view of Halifax form ferry.😎👌

One of the gold ones is this place. Open, next to water, sun or snow both can be in abundance. Beautiful for an event, walk, family time, me time or whatever. Amazing scenario, ferry right next door, beer right next door and of course food truck is added cherry!

I really love this place. The farmers market every Saturday is great to visit! Live music, great snacks, fresh bakery and local fruits & vegetables! What's more? The best place to sit down and enjoy the hot snacks and the fresh lemonade you buy and soak in the lovely Halifax skyline! I try to visit this every weekend. My preferred mode of transportation, since I live in Downtown Halifax is a ferry ride back and forth, since it's literally next to the market!

There are so many little nooks and corners to sit and soak in the sunshine at Alderney Landing, in addition to lovely cafés and eateries. During the summer it hosts festivals and events for all. Here’s a photo of the daffodil garden for cancer survivors in the municipal park adjacent to the property.

My most visited place. Watch out for activities and don't miss it with family or friends. I love the beautiful scenery day or night.

Beautiful view of the MacDonald Bridge, with a nice park and lots of seating areas. There is also a learning centre (NSLC) here which is a nice touch! I didn't get a chance to catch a ride on the ferry but I do look forward to getting a chance in the future!
