After
stepping
foot
inside
this
store
I
was
asked
by
two
separate
employees
(pretty
much
immediately)
if
I
needed
help.
I
understand
it’s
their
job
to
ask
customers
if
they
need
assistance,
as
many
people
do.
But
it
was
overwhelming.
And
they
were
not
too
friendly.
When
I
said
that
I
did
not
need
any
help
and
was
doing
okay
..
they
just
seemed
to
grow
more
suspicious
of
me?
In
fact,
I
kept
seeing
one
employee
everywhere
I
went
and
it
was
very
distressing.
I
also
understand
it’s
their
job
to
prevent
theft,
but
I
don’t
think
anything
about
me
simply
looking
around
is
suspicious.
I
even
had
bags
with
me
from
other
stores
in
the
mall!
I
just
wanted
to
come
in,
take
my
time,
and
look
around
at
the
products:
as
I
haven’t
been
into
a
Sephora
since
before
the
pandemic.
I
probably
would
have
bought
a
lot
more
than
just
one
item
if
I
didn’t
feel
pressured
to
leave.
This
isn’t
the
first
time
I’ve
had
an
experience
like
this,
a
couple
of
years
ago
this
one
specific
employee
asked
me
3
times
within
the
span
of
5
minutes
if
I
needed
help.
I
also
noticed
that
I
seem
to
be
treated
better
the
more
makeup
that
I
have
on.
I
was
hoping
things
have
changed
but
🤷♀️
