I contacted him with some inspiration pictures and ideas and he was able to take elements of them and design the ring that I was dreaming of. He made sure to get details about her life which led us to a more practical and sturdy final product. He kept it within my budget and was able to track down a diamond that exceeded my expectations! Amazingly, from the time I contacted him to when I had the ring in my hand was only 1 month! Pretty incredible for a completely custom design. I am so glad I went with Bruce! Finding Bruce was completely random - and in the end it was like winning a lottery. As a relative newcomer to HRM, I had no experience with local jewelers. When I began my search for a jeweler to work with, I reached out to several individuals simply based on the appeal of their websites and Bruce was literally the first to reply. Given the pandemic-related restrictions, most of my dealings with Bruce unfolded via email. Besides his responsiveness, Bruce was able to translate my thoughts and roughly formed ideas into an incredible concept and design. Bruce was very enthusiastic and extremely professional to work with. He explained the process and was able to manage my expectations throughout. He met his deliverable milestones without any issues and when we were required to meet in person, he was very flexible and accommodating. I was looking for the expertise of a jeweler to design and manufacture a unique piece for my husband to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Bruce took the time and special interest in learning about my husband, his career, and our history to incorporate some storytelling into the piece. In the end, Bruce designed a "compass" hat/lapel pin that speaks to our origin story, his military service, and even included a touch of platinum which is recognized as the modern traditional gift for a 20th wedding anniversary. Seeing my ideas come to life through Bruce's talent was overwhelming and the gift was so warmly received by my husband. The entire experience with Bruce was exceptional and I am already looking for new projects so I can enlist Bruce's help!

I contacted Bruce to see if he could re-work my mistake of using a less-than-stellar online jeweler. My fiancée's wedding band and engagement ring just did not line up very nicely and the retailer offered little recourse. Bruce was able to take the gold and gems from the wedding band and create a very nice mate to her engagement ring, at a very fair price. He also communicated excellently along the way and verified that we were comfortable with the design with a wax model.

Amazing experience working with Bruce from the initial consultation, to the delivery of the final ring. I had a custom diamond engagement ring made and his knowledge and professionalism was unmatched. He took the time to explain the many details regarding the world of diamonds and ensured I had a top quality product. He even provided a beautiful ring box, branded polishing cloths, and took the time to explain the certification brochure to me. The biggest thing that set Bruce apart from any other jeweler I contacted was his human approach. He was the only jeweler to ask the name of my (now) fiancé and wanted to know all about how I planned to propose. He truly loves what he does and it is shown in his craftmanship. Amazing work, I had Bruce commission a signet ring for myself. It was a wonderful experience designing and working out the small details throughout the process. The professional insight into the ring and the overall design was incredibly important for me. He was very honest and passionate about the process which just made the the whole project very exciting.
