Just a little place with a lot in it. Has a menu with fresh choices on it and the one person that was running the front end was doing a fantastic job. The food was really good with reasonable prices. Was really cool they had too big coolers you could go to and just grab whatever beer or drink you wanted and they just put it on your bill.

From what I know, the Riverside Market South Florida is one of three locations operated by the same owner. This is a true bar that serves great food. They have beer on tap plus three glass front fridges full of great domestic and international beer. I had a pulled pork sandwich with fries. The fries were crispy and salty like I love them. The pulled pork was a cross between a sweet sauce and North Carolina style with some purple cabbage on top. It was fantastic and I was tempted to order a second one. The atmosphere is bar like and the decor is fisherman friendly. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean. The food is fresh and the beer is cold. Great location to capture the locals and those coming off the cruise ships. Great find and one not to miss.

Do you like markets that are on the side of rivers? Then you'll love this place! This is Fort Lauderdale's best dive bar. This place has hundreds of beers to pick from. This is the only place I've been that has a total honor system. You grab a beer from the fridge and there are bottle openers all over the place so you can enjoy right away. At the end, you just bring up your bottles and square up then. Riverside also has amazing food. I definitely recommend the north fork sandwich. So damn good!

Great place. The bartenter was really nice. And quite knowledgeable in beer choices. Thanks to the Pub Pass for another great choice of venue!

Riverside Market South is conveniently nestled near the airport, offers an impressive array of culinary delights that are consistent with the high quality found across all Riverside Market locations. The moment you step in, you're greeted by an ambiance that's both welcoming and vibrant. The real adventure begins when you walk up to their beer coolers. It's like a treasure hunt for beer aficionados - the variety and the freedom to pick and choose your drinks adds a uniquely fun and personalized touch to the dining experience. What truly sets Riverside Market South apart is the quality of food. Every dish I've tried here, from their gourmet sandwiches to the moreish appetizers, has been a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor. It's not just food; it's an experience that tantalizes your taste buds. Moreover, the location is perfect for travelers or locals looking for a quality meal without straying too far from the airport. Whether you're catching a flight or just in the area, this place is a must-visit!

Great local spot. Found it by luck. Food was amazingly good and huge craft beer selection. They have games and plenty of TV.

We loved this place! A perfect stop after a long night of traveling; we found good drafts and tasty eats. The best part however, was the bartender who took great care of us and was fun to chat up.

Was very excited to try Riverside Market South tonight, August 18, 2023 @ 7:30p as it had a 4.5 star review! When we walked in, it was very hot and was told to seat ourselves. As our party of 8 sat down, the waitress came over and told us how the restaurant/bar worked, that the beer in the cooler was self serve, and that there was soda on tap, and also told us they were not able to cook pizza. As a party of 8, we only received 4 menus, that were on a piece of paper, that was rubbing off, and was not legible. When we were ready to order food, only four people got to order before the waitress walked away without saying anything. A few minutes later she came back and continued to take the rest of our party’s order. All but two of our party wanted water/soda, but was never asked for our order. After we ordered food, we asked the waitress for two cokes, she walked away before we could finish ordering drinks for the rest of the table. When she brought back the two cokes, I asked for two waters, and she stated “I’m not going to keep coming back for each person to order.” The way that we were talked to is not professional in any manner, let alone as a waitress. We ordered three different appetizers, two came out 30 minutes after we ordered, and our third came when our food came out. Only two of our party’s food came out first, 10 minutes went by before three more of our party’s food came out. Another 10 minutes went by before the rest of our party’s food came out. One person of our party ordered a HOT hoagie, it came out cold. The waitress stated that “the sandwich wouldn’t fit in the oven” and brought it out cold. Another person of our party ordered a HOT hoagie, with no tomato and no oil and vinegar. This hoagie also came out cold, due to the same “it won’t fit in the oven” reason, also with tomato’s and oil and vinegar on it. The waitress took it back to be remade, and brought it back. They brought back the hoagie, to what appears the tomato’s wiped off, and the oil and vinegar was still soaked into the bread and lettuce. Keep in mind, these two COLD hoagies were the last food to come out. We sat without refills on waters for over 15 minutes. The waitress then stated at the end our dinner, “We were about to close the kitchen down before you showed up,” and “we weren’t ready for a party of this size.” Mind you, it was a Friday night at 7:30p, and she took another food order of a different party after us. The food that we received correctly was okay, but the service is horrible. Also to add, it’s is very hot in the restaurant. I’m not sure if the AC isn’t working, or they just don’t have enough AC vents in the restaurant. It is almost unbearable to sit and eat food here. As a place where you serve yourself canned drinks, I am not sure why the waitress service is slow, and rude. Also to add, when we showed up, there was not many people in the bar/restaurant.

The food is good and the bartender was nice when I first got there, but I had to wait for my brother after a flight, so I asked if I could hangout there for a while and at that point she began to be very rude, and eventually told me “it’s time to go, figure it out”. Which, it’s her business, she can ask me to leave and that’s fine, but the tone and phrasing was very rude. I was literally just sitting in the corner doing nothing, so I’d say it’s not unreasonable to just let me wait 🤷‍♂️

We had an unexpected layover and were looking for a place to pass a few hours. We weren’t disappointed with our choice! Great beer, good food, and kind and welcome staff, even with our bags of luggage!

Great local bar with delicious food too😋. My brothers and I stopped in here right after landing in Florida. We ordered the caprese sandwich, pizza, nachos, chicken salad as well as the hot chicks. I appreciated their friendly service and good food 😊 I will definitely recommend this place to others.

By far the rudest bartender/waitress/claimed owner I have ever witnessed on vacation ever!! My family and I were having a not so great day with this being our Christmas vacation and trying to get our elderly parents down here and canceled flights we tried to stop and get something to eat while trying to find them new flights the waitress came over and told me she would not listen to our phone conversation with the airline and need to make it more quiet or take it outside. Said it was her bar her rules and we could leave if we didn’t like them…. Well we left! Will never go back! What happened to true compassion and customer service?!

I really like this place. Huge choice of beer around 400 cans and over 25 draft beers. They have my favorite pilsner that’s really rare.

  • 1/5 Jordan C. 2 years ago on Google
I didn’t get greeted when I walked in which is not a huge deal, but I’ve never been to the place before. I read on the wall to grab a beer which was fine but it was the fact that i wanted food too. I went up to the bar and asked where I need to put my order in at and the bartender proceeded to tell me not with him and that he will grab the waiter. 15 minutes after that we were still not helped in any way…

Amazing restaurant/bar me and my entire family loved it. I will say my mother was with us, and she has to be one of the pickiest people in the world and I gotta say even she was amazed. We came from San Diego for vacation and had the pleasure to meet John. Amazing service, if im ever around the area again I will definitely stop by to have a beer. John gave me and my family amazing recommendations and we left with one of the greatest experiences. Thank you very much John.

Not sure if a rating is appropriate for this location. An interesting concept to "serve yourself". You have to go to the refrigerator to get your own beer. A wide variety of craft beer; unfortunately, they were not cold or cool. Fresh is the word that comes to mind to describe the temperature. The location looked like an abandoned/forgotten place inside. It was almost as hot inside as it was outside 90 F. The food... wings were undercooked, in their attempt to correct it, they overcooked them; therefore, tasted burnt, the wing sauce was less than flavorful, no carrots or celery. Burger was thick and the vegetables were fresh, but it is difficult to describe the experience with any other word than "preserved". The "waiter" really made an effort to do the best he could, but there was only 1 silverware, no napkins, salt or pepper, dressings (ketchup, mustard, etc.), or what normally would be on the table to be a part of the meal. We can't say for sure if that's the restaurant's practice or he simply didn't have any concept of what should be on the table. Sincerely hope they get it together

Stopped in earlier today with my 12 year old son. I drive an 18 wheeler and broke down early in the morning. This place was near the dealership, so we got a ride and hung out until my wife could get there to pick us up from Jacksonville. We were hot, exhausted, and starving. This place was just what we needed to recharge and get out of the heat. The food was good and reasonably priced. The service and atmosphere was great. Thank yall so much for treating me and my son so well. If I'm ever down in the area again I will take you up on you offer to stop-in.

Very cool little local place with great food and good beer. Bartender was great, as well as the owner. Went here on back to back days for lunch. The Black and Bleu burger was awesome, the appetizers were delicious, too. Had the buffalo chicken dip, jalapeno poppers, pickles, and shrimp. All excellent. Second day I had the wings in Carolina Gold sauce and bleu cheese. Again, amazing!

The best hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. One of the best beer selections I have seen in south Florida. I recommend the buffalo chicken dip and fish tacos.

Always have a good time here. I'm usually here during lunch time. Staff is top knotch, my favorite food is the tuna melt, sometimes I get a burger. Just wish they had a fried egg burger. Beer selection is above and beyond.

I ordered the fried Mahi tacos-very good. Usually restaurants don't season the fish, but these were. Hubby had the pulled pork-said it was really good. Gabriel was the only waiter but he seemed to be attentive to everyone. The bathrooms were clean with no odor-very important.

Stopped by here on our way to the port. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. They had a free old school pac man arcade which kept our two kids entertained. We had the blue burger, margarita pizza, and bbq wings. All was great. Wings were crispy and my favorite!

We saw the great reviews and took a cab from the airport with our two kids to get food on our 3 hr layover (after delay in customs). Arrived at 625 only to be told “kitchen’s closed” (restaurant hours state they are open until 7pm)- nothing within walking distance; very disappointing experience.

Great beer selection. Nice menu. Very close to Ft Lauderdale airport (FLL). Why spend $12 for a bottle of Bud Light inside FLL when you can get a great craft beer for much less. Food is a much better deal too. We go there before and after going to FLL.
