From out of town, stopped here based upon the reviews. We were quickly seated, quickly ordered, food came quickly. Our server was very nice, friendly & efficient. The food was delicious. I ordered a skillet, my wife ordered eggs & pancakes. The biscuit that came with mine was fantastic. The potatoes were great, just the right amount of crispy and wonderful flavor. I really have nothing bad to say.. I'd eat here regularly if I was a local.

Thought I was going to wait long, but it was reasonable. The waitress was very attentive and took care of our needs. Ambiance of the place is nice. Food came out hot with generous portions. No frills, simple menu, tasty diner food. Canโ€™t ask for anything else. Parking lot outside off of the main strip.

Lester's is amazing. Our server Janet was as amazing as the food. I had the Greek combo and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, it was the last meal before me and my girlfriend broke up ๐Ÿ˜• but the food and service makes it a good memory ๐Ÿ™‚. Yea, it's that good. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

I canโ€™t say enough about this place. Itโ€™s always spot on and is a hit with the entire family. You wonโ€™t be disappointed in anything you order and they have a 24-7 breakfast ๐Ÿฅž thatโ€™s delicious. There has never been a wait for me and they are open anytime day or night. Customer service is great and the place is clean and price is right. If youโ€™re in town try it.

Lesters Diner Fort Lauderale. Wow! Great server thats been there for 15+ years to bring out some great meals at excellent prices!! Had the pork chops that were perfectly seasoned and grilled medium, accompanied by endless sides. Sides were apple sauce, chicken soup, and rice w/mushrooms and a side of sausage gravy that could be put on anything! Great coffee and wish I had more room for their deserts! Im gonna return several more times in the next months to try all of the other inexpensive meals and sandwiches. Crazy! The funny thing is that this Greek owned place does not serve lamb (even though theres a heading for it). Too expensive normally.

I did not like it at all. I put 2 stars only for the steak, it was just great! All other five dishes was disgusting...I came there with whole family of 6 people and spent there 100 dollars, not so much but the issue is that I did not like any of that orders. Everything was too dry and with a lot of pepper...i dont know maybe somebody likes it but not me...People, when you go there, order only steaks or waffles.

If you are familiar with South Jersey Diners and enjoy them, this is the place for you! The "look" of the silver train car exterior, the booths (please wait to be seated) and counter seating, right down to the dowhap music! We have (I will apologize now for the spelling) Thekap as our server. Biggest smile, energetic, attentive person. Personality galore! -we were there on May 11 about 1020 SERVICE: 5 star COFFEE: excellent! - I asked for the whole pot since I just came in on an overnight flight from Peru. - never needed to ask for a refill - the sign of a true professional server! KITCHEN: although not a category - Outstanding - our order was perfect, which was Lester's 2-2-2-2 (2 pancakes / 2 eggs - over easy / 2 bacon / 2 link sausage (the good kind......not those thin little tiny sausage links) - about $9 + $3.19 for a soup cup size coffee! Thank to all that made our experience wonderful.

This was okay in my opinion. They were super busy for Passover so this might be why our visit wasnโ€™t the greatest. It was okay. My mom, uncle, and I came here as we just left Ft. Lauderdale airport from picking my uncle up. There was a wait which passed by fast I would say about 10 minutes even on a busy day like today. We ordered our food and it came out quick. However, my fries were cold, my momโ€™s country fried steak was cold and my Greek wrap was too salty. My uncle seemed to be fine with his meal as he didnโ€™t say much. Our server did her best during the rush. Again, Iโ€™m going to blame the holiday on a Sunday for this experience being so average. My visit made me wish I was back in West Palm to go to our local diner as this was not it.

Ordered south of the border skillet. Nice place. Always busy (Good!). Friendly staff. Edit: Donโ€™t think my order was cooked in the skillet. The hash isnโ€™t crispy at all. Nothing tasted seared.

I recommend to everyone! I didnโ€™t intend to come in, but thanks to Victor (a restaurant employee) I came in and didnโ€™t regret it at all. It was something, steak with shrimp pasta, pizza was just a gastronomic delight, and the sauce for the meat cannot be described in words... You just have to eat and eat with pleasure. Very attentive, friendly staff. I'm satisfied, strong five stars! Many thanks to Victor๐Ÿ‘

We just love to get breakfast at diners when we're visiting the USA. The ambiente is very special and is not comparable with diner-type restaurants in Europe. This place is clean and the food is very tasty.

What a gem on the way to everywhere. Very easy to get into and it's near the port and airport. Not to forget the food was very good! I had the Florentine Eggs Benedict with home fries. The benedict was great, sorry not a fan of home fries but it came with. I wasn't famished so I just ate the eggs. Can't wait to come back again.

The Fort Lauderdale location of Lester's is a landmark. Absolute classic, great place to go when hungover. I always get the eggs benedict or eggs florentine, and biscuits and gravy. It's not gourmet, so if you were expecting that - you might want to look elsewhere. It is classic diner food that hits the spot when you're looking for that kind of meal. Absolutely the best diner in the area.

This place was busy but the wait wasn't long maybe 10 minutes to be seated. We were surprised how quickly our food came out. As for the taste I'd say we weren't too impressed. My French toast seemed a little dry and firm. The bread for my sandwich was kinda wet and the meat was a little dry. My daughter had ordered wings and some of them were still slightly pink inside, luckily the waitress removed it from our check. We might give them another try one day but not in a hurry. We were seated near a waitress station and kept hearing dishes clanging due to the waitresses throwing dirty dishes into the bucket.

I went there for birthday lunch with my friend Ruth and we were amazed how packed the place was and how long the menu. It is a mix of different cuisines. I tried the Greek trio and my friend had a sandwich. We were both very happy with the food and service. Our waitress was very very friendly and full of good suggestions. She told my friend to order the banana creme pie as it had real bananas unlike the other options.

Better food at most local diners than the national watered-down chain restaurant. Food is fresher desserts is not trucked in from a out of state warehouse. Everything is just better. I have been going here for almost 40 years

Heard a lot of great comments about Lester's Diner, so when friends asked us to join them at Lester's we were delighted. Over all Lester's truly is that traditional diner and diner fare. The menu offerings are a lot -- we had both the general all day dining menu and the breakfast menu. Some of the meals ordered are pictured which includes open-faced turkey sandwich, eggs florentine, and the cheesesteak omelet. Our friend very much enjoyed his open-faced turkey. The others were simply fine -- not best ever but certainly not awful. The cheesesteak omelet had maybe one whole piece of meat. The service was good and items pop out of the kitchen rather fast. As one friend stated - they need to turn over the tables to make a good profit. The wait staff was very funny and nice. Our server was so fast we had the check but we're never asked if we wanted anything else, and there was no offer to bring more water or even heat up the cup.of coffee. Would I rush back - not really. But if had a desire for good basic diner food and nothing was open Lester's Diner would be the place to go. Note: really couldn't give 4 stars but would say 3 stars plus.

This was a happy surprise! Me and a friend were feeling like a little breakfast and stop here real quick. The outside wasnโ€™t the best looking but, I decided to try anyway. The inside was definitely upgraded and looked nice. Plenty of seating and bar seats as well. Very traditional diner even the cake and pastry display. I saw cakes, pies, even Neapolitan pastries that looked delicious. I wound up ordering the western omelet with home fries and a English muffin. Everything was great. Tasty with good flavor and The prices were great ๐Ÿ˜Š. Nice and friendly staff! I would definitely return to try more.

An amazing breakfast restaurant to eat at! Has loads of delicious food, great customer service, and tons on TONS of deserts ranging from almond crumble to full fruit cakes! One of the best and oldest restaurants to eat breakfast at. 10/10

I grew up in the area and used to eat here a lot. Came back to visit and had to get a bowl of coffee. Ordered a Bamburger and added some mushrooms. They are serious about their mushrooms, one feel off and it was big and thick. It would make a sandwich at any other restaurant. This is one of the places I miss not living here any more.

Classic diner, food is always great, service is fast and servers are professional, your coffee is refilled before you even know you need it!. Great value too, prices a lot lower than the chains. IMHO 2-2-2 breakfast is the go-to, sub french toast for pancakes.

The Greek Brisket my companion ordered was outstanding! Tender, medium-rare as ordered, very tasty. My Turkey Dinner, though, had the driest turkey I've ever been served! I don't like to waste food, so I took it home & made a small soup out of it! Otherwise, very dry bread pudding, I think someone just goofed on that recipe! Excellent, professional service, nice relaxed atmosphere. I'll try them again another time, they've been around so long that I'm thinking my meal was just an oddity...no place would stay in business if the food was normally that awful. Also, the other dish was great! Free parking.

We had a great experience here on a Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival, we gave our name to the hostess, and maybe a minute later, we were called to go to our table! Virtually no wait time. Our server came to our table pretty quickly to take our drink orders, and left us to peruse the menu. When she returned, we ordered our meals. I chose the Gyro Sandwich and a side of fries. The food came out in a decent amount of time, and was correct. My gyro was very tasty, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Our server was very nice, was attentive throughout the meal, and wasn't intrusive. Overall, this is a great restaurant. The parking lot is ample, the bathrooms were clean, the food was really good, and the staff are friendly. I will definitely be back!

Recommended by the one and only Secret Garden hostess Kristen. First time and oh boy the food was delicious. A juicy brisket, incredible chili mac and country fries steak sealed it off with key lime pie, blueberry pie and bread pudding really yummy.

Service was excellent. Breakfast came out hot, fresh and fast. It was a bit crowded at 10am with few seating areas so we had a little wait. The bathrooms were very clean and they clean them often but they block the doors during cleaning, so it can be a bit inconvenient at times. They cleaned the bathrooms in the middle of the peak times so I had to wait a bit to wash my hands before Breakfast. Very popular place!
