Lovely place to sit. Beautiful gardens overlooking the sea.

Such a pretty place. So many pretty flowering plants and well maintained. Reached here while driving around Dover on a sunny day. Weather was still chilly and sun shined perfectly on the lovely spot making it look surreal. Should definitely check it out if u visit the area and for the locals, I am jealous of your little heaven.

A beautiful and tranquil place well maintained by caring locals, at the end of a beach walk or the Saxon shore way path. approximately 1 miles from deal Pier. Refreshments available

Oasis of tranquility with beautiful gardens and, frequently, stunning views of sunsets, stormy weather, or both at the same time. Also a good access point for walks along the beach or around the nature reserve. Depending on the time of day/week, @BangingBeans serves coffees, teas, etc. Even when caravans clog the parking closest to the garden, there's usually room for cars to park just up Sandown Road.

Such a lovely place to visit. Linda, John and Co have worked so hard to make the castle bloom.

The gardens are so beautiful, not a weed in sight and such a brilliant, colourful display of hundreds of different plants. The seats are positioned so that you can choose to either look out across The English Channel, or on breezy days hunker down amongst the plants out of the wind and enjoy a delicious coffee and pastry from the excellent Hog and Bean grass covered mobile coffee wagon. What's not to love, judging by how many people use this wonderful place l think they all agree as well

Beautiful place. You can watch very beautifully sunset and the sea and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Very colourful, very well looked after and cared for, lovely view along the coast and of the Channel. Plus you normally have the mobile Coffee van right there on Sandown Road which is a nice warm treat to be had on a cold day.

Very nice place. We tried to walk along to sandwich bay but the stones and uneven surface made it hard and we turned back but the place itself was lovely
