First time visitor and it all hit the spot. I ordered a bbq burger without green peppers and it was delicious. My son ordered the Mac n cheese burger and really liked it. The burgers are super fresh and not too long of a wait. The bacon cheese fries are to die for, they are a meal itself in my opinion. The staff greeted us immediately and let us know it was going to be a little wait (dinner time) which was understandable. The friendly service and quality food are a number 1 in the area. It is located in a convenience store/gas station, but there is a dining area to enjoy your meal. The party store has plenty of drinks to choose from for healthy and not so healthy options. (High sugar, sweeteners, and other artificial ingredients) It's a great stop and not too far from the airport or U.S Park.

Drove over a hour to experience one of the best burgers I’ve had. On top of that the staff was so nice and polite. The best way to experience this deliciousness is to dine in while the food is fresh and hot. Rounds 2 coming up very soon.

It’s rare that I take the time to add reviews but this place deserves another 5 star rating. More if I could. I got the volcano burger, but I subbed crispy chicken for the beef patty. It was soooo good, great jalapeño flavor in different forms - poppers and fresh. My girlfriend got the Cool Ranch Supreme and she loved it too (I had a bite and can confirm it is amazing). We shared west coast style fries which were amazing as well. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I WISH there was one near me so I could have this regularly. Will be returning during any trips to Michigan!

Great food although it is located in a gas station! We got here close to closing, but were provided with great service. Onion rings and chicken wings were amazing as was the volcano burger. Hand slaughtered halal - as was confirmed by the server.

If you’re looking for the American dream it’s here between these buns. This place is the best burger spot in Detroit. They got a great variety of speciality burgers, but not gourmet burgers, rather classics that go together amazingly. Where else can you get a cool ranch Doritos burger?? Pictured below is the Mac attack and it was kraft-ed perfectly. The staff is super sweet and always make you smile.

Wish this place was in Chicago as well. Visited this place back in 2019 and was amazed to see the choice of halal burger options. Their burgers were one of the best burger which i had considering halal food. Service was great and the portion was sufficient to satiate my cravings. Must place to visit and eat if you are in Detroit or Dearborn.

Not a typical burger joint, this location is inside of a gas station; even though there is a modest seating area for you to sit down and enjoy your burger the environment is still not what you would typically be used to for a dine-in experience. All that aside these burger's are worth their asking price ( buyer beware THEIR ARE NO COMBO'S! drinks, fries and such purchased separately [no soda fountain as well, drinks available in gas station store]) besides if you're willing to overlook the slightly insignificant need for a dine in experience than you DEFINITELY need to give Taystee's a try. Besides in my opinion a burger like this is best enjoyed at home while watching a favorite movie.

Burgers are always lit. It's halal which is amazing because we need more halal food options that are not middle eastern cuisine! Atmosphere is not for me- I don't mind small sit down places but this is in a gas station so there's that. But we always come back cause the food is great!

What a great place. The burgers were amazing. We also got onion rings, curly fries and lemon pepper fries. Everything was fresh and took only about 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly, as well. Highly recommend going here.

Do not be fooled by the fact that this establishment is housed within a BP gas station. My meal at Tastee burger was nothing short of what they claim to sell, Tastee burgers. My friend was driving me to DTW airport on the day of a blizzard to catch my flight. We left early so we had time to stop for gas and get a nice lunch. Surprisingly, the dudes at Tastee burger were pumping out burgers as if the weather outside was warm and sunny. They were super welcoming and full of energy. The menu was very simple to navigate although I found it odd that they didn’t have prices listed. By recommendation of my friend, I got the knockwurst burger which had French fries, cheese, an egg, 3 types of halal meats, beef bacon, hot dog, and a burger patty a top a massive heap of Cole slaw and sandwiches between a beautifully golden brioche bun. We also got the the buffalo chicken sandwich for share and my oh my! Let’s just say I am very much looking forward to my next visit so I can have a whole one to myself 😇😇. In the moment, the only way to have described it was a chik-fil-a sandwich that went around the world and back. Finally, the meal was all tied together with their west coast fries, French fries topped with nacho cheese and grilled onions. The potatoes were good but I would have preferred to have had a little less cheese and grilled onions. The ratio felt off where it felt like I was eating more topping than fries. I am certainly looking forward to my next visit where I will stick to just some seasoned fries. There is not a whole lot not to like this place so if you’re looking for some yummy greasy food, give this place a try! And fuel up your car and stomach while you’re at it 😂

Haven’t had Taystee’s in over 5 years and yesterday I decided to get some. It was just as I remembered. We got the Volcano & Taystee’s Special burger with a side of curly fries. A yummy rich taste that satisfied my burger and fries craving.

Great food, friendly service. Little pricey but what isn't these days? Gotta try their specialty burgers and their specialty fries.... Midwest fries are unbeatable.

I got the original burger and small fries. Their burgers are huge and fries have really big portions. The cool thing was that this place was connected to a gas station so you have to get drinks from there which I think is a great idea.

Absolutely incredible. Everything was fresh and delicious. Opted to do a build your own burger with an assortment of toppings including bacon, mac and cheese bites, jalapeño poppers, onion rings and much more. The kicker was the two grilled cheese sandwiches for buns. Honestly felt my arteries clog as I ate but was worth every bite. Fries were nice and crispy and well seasoned.

Their beef patties are the most flavorful and juiciest that I've ever had. You don't get such good flavour in Toronto specially for beef patty. We ordered BBQ, Volcano, Ali's Nacho and Hawaiian burgers. All were very tasty and juicy as you'd like it. Only reason for 4stars is that this location is inside the gas station and I found the guy working at gas station counter a bit rude.

I ordered a build your own burger with cajun fries with nacho cheese and mustard on the side. Cost me about 18 dollars in cash (and 19.50 if it was in card). Really loved the burger here! Fries were okay , I would like it better if it were crispy. Overall a good food place to try

Very expensive but the food is good! I approve of it as a Post-pregnancy place to eat! They are located at the gas station and their service is very quick. All the food is halal here too!

Burgers are unique and tasty. Especially the burger with knockwurst and fried egg on it. The spicy chicken sandwich was okay. The vegan fish was surprisingly good as well. The star of the show was the turkey bacon cheese fries which were really yummy! I'll definitely be going back multiple times this summer before the drive in movies.

This awesome place was recommended to us from family that lives here and WOW. The food tasted great and was made fresh right there. It’s an appetite crusher kind of place, came in hungry and left full and happy. Super creative menu- you’ll have to try the breakfast burger, comes with a fried egg and two grilled cheeses for the buns. Absolutely amazing food and great service, we will be back
