First time to Boston area and someone suggested this cafe... loved it and would’ve gave five star but it’s winter and we were seated by the door because we didn’t have reservations. ** call to reserve seat away from door if you are visiting. The food was amazing and I totally enjoyed the locally brewed beer! We had soup of the - clam chowder and pizza! Check out my photos below! Also- staff was super friendly and we even got some great local travel tips for today’s visits.

Hands down the best pancakes I have had outside of the pancakes my Dad made for me as a child! The food is always fantastic and the ambiance is relaxed and friendly.

Excellent pizza. Went here on a Wednesday and it was packed. Definitely a local spot as the bartenders knew most of the customers. Eggplant pizza is great and the cocktails/martinis are strong and priced right; ~$10.

Chicken parmigian was good but the eggplant parmigian sandwich was terrible. Dime thin slices were over breaded. Very little sauce also and I had to ask for more marinana. Chef needs to work on a new recipe.

Love coming here for dinner, but the Brickhouse also does a great brunch on Saturday's and Sunday's from 8-Noon. Good idea to get there early, the tables tend to fill up quickly. Staff is incredibly friendly and warm, overall great atmosphere.

We had another great meal at Brickhouse in Dedham. Great drinks, great food and great value. Always an excellent experience!!

We used to order from here all the time, but they have since gone cash only for take out. Very disappointed as it was the only reasonable pasta in Dedham. Guess they aren't ready for the younger cashless generations.

Parking is kind of limited here so took us a little to find a spot. The food was pretty delicious- I got the Chicken Broccoli Penne and had a tasty lemon based sauce, I wanted to try the Chicken Marsala but saw they don't serve "dinner" until 3pm so we'll come back to try that and other dishes.

My first time visiting here, the food was hot and delicious. I had one problem with my food and it was quickly corrected. The server was excellent. Enjoyed everything about this visit.

Our waitress Jess was the BEST. We were a party of 15 and everyone loved their food. I highly recommend Brickhouse.

Outstanding!!! We are in town for the weekend. Called at 7:55 pm and they close at 9pm for a reservation, no hesitation to seat us with a 8:15 reservation! Service by Mary Kate was impeccable and her dinner suggestions made our night after a long ride into Deadham! Being 100% Italian myself it checked off every expectation I could ask for in an Italian meal and then some! Definitely a meal to remember! We will definitely be back! ♥️🇮🇹

Great service from the friendly staff, but, sadly, I cannot say the same about the Brickhouse pizza, coffee, and Homemade Fries. Coffee was burnt, pizza offered little flavor with strange dough texture, and the fries were dry - this isn't to steer you away from the place as there are many options to choose from, but there's definitely room for growth, which I can say is a good thing! So, try the other many dishes to choose from and I hope they are better 👍 😃

My fiance and I went to Brickhouse Cafe for the first time last night. We loved the atmosphere, the food, and especially our bartender, Joe, who really made the evening extra fun. We will definitely be back! :)

My wife and I recently dined at Brickhouse on a Saturday evening. The need-to-know, cons, and pros are as follows. NTK: - Nice atmosphere. - Nice bar top with TVs all around. - Other seating around the bar, as well as a separate dining space. - Food was a tad more pricey than I was expecting, but it is very good, so I should probably raise my expectations. Cons: - None to report - they did a great job. Pros: - Lively and friendly staff. - Delicious food. - Timely service. - Laid back vibe

This restaurant is a hidden gem for mainly Italian food. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes. We all were very satisfied with apps, entrees and desert. Large portions at a reasonable price. Overall impression is old school Italian dishes in a friendly neighborhood environment. Service was excellent and attentive. Stop going to chain restaurants and give these family run businesses a try. You can't go wrong with this one.

Great atmosphere and even better food. Jenna was a great bartender and amazing hostess for our first visit. My wife and I will be back for another visit soon. Thank you for a great date night!

Worked here before moving cross country- the older bartenders apparently always closed us out RIGHT before bar parties with larger checks were to be closed, which would mean we were not tipped out appropriately. They were also not subtle about doing so, and we were told by another bartender that the tips we got were uncharacteristically low. I had a few friendly co workers, but a handful of catty townie types, and 1 good shift manager (NOT the GM at the time) in my opinion, but would hands down not work here again. Leaving this for anyone seeking a job in case it's helpful.

Hidden gem. Calamari is the best I have ever had. Cosey. Like a slice of the north end in Dedham. Worth a visit.

My wife and I have enjoyed the food at your restaurant many times. Everything is done well, in fact the Chicken Picata is so good that whenever I go to your restaurant, I order it all the time, it's that good!!!

Great brunch menu. Lots of options. Delicious. Great service/coffee & bloody Mary's 🙂
